From my perspective the point of the democrat's entire game can be summed up in one word: power. They want a one party system with no opposition, and if they could destroy Trump who would have the cajones to stand up to them after his personal destruction. Their end game can also be summed up in one word: tyrrany.

They are insane. They cannot impeach Trump. If they took the Senate after 2020 and impeached Trump then, they would have Pence for 4 years. Even their best case scenario fails. They have to know that
