Hey at least no one ever referred to Obama as a Kenyan!

I completely logged out and noticed that just about everyone who is critical of *he who you named* was banned. A few minutes later, I was able to log back in and thankfully after requiring found out it was a glitch. Apparently several members IP's were swept up while removing a spammer with a similar IP. I was temporarily confused because I specifically remembered a post about the possibility of banning members who speak out about the character of Trump.

As of now it would seem that people can be banned for "derailing" their own thread?! It's gotten ridiculous here now. Any voices of dissension towards Trump will get a ban or a removal from a thread? I thought this sort of censorship was something directed at the 'far left'?

Heck, if this place is gonna just become a golf club for conservatives then it's lost what set it apart from a myriad others. It will lose more and more traffic in the process.

Hey, if I get a ban I'm not fussed and I ain't gonna whine over it either. It's just a shame to see a once vibrant forum become another indistinguishable one due to 'moderation' out of control.

He who pays the piper calls the tune. As I read it this is a Republican leaning site. So they can have whatever rules they wish to impose on any users. At least they have declared where their sympathies lie. If you still want to thump Trump then they say ,'go elsewhere'. That is fair enough.

    4. Thou SHALL NOT call other TOL members names without cause. Appropriately identifying the wicked is not only allowed but encouraged. Again, TOL is a right-wing Christian forum and therefore our bias is not hidden.
Perhaps TOL needs to revise its 4th Commandment - are we only "encouraged" to "identify" the words and actions of those on the left-wing as "wicked," while the morality of those on the right-wing get a free pass?

If Donald Trump was a Democratic President instead of a Republican one, would TOL have any reservations "allowing and encouraging" its members when it comes to "identifying" the "wickedness" of his infidelities and association with porn stars?

As things now stand, one's political affiliation has become the determining factor as to which words and actions can be "identified" as "wicked" - is TOL sending the message that come Judgement Day, Christians will find that God is biased in favor of conservatives over liberals?

Must have been a different TOL.
Do you really think you can ARGUE your way into forcing the moratorium to end?

Sherman was quite clear in what she said. Just because you can't decipher properly, doesn't mean you're immune from problems if you decide to keep bashing Trump and his Presidency.

In short, this President is not performing many of his Constitutional duties, while many of his policies are at odds with "conservative" thinking!

As for his morality, it is the very antithesis of what Christ has taught us to believe, and any attempt to blind eye and/or align itself with this individual makes TOL an "enabler!"

Please explain how it is possible, from a Christian perspective, to discuss Donald Trump's words and actions and not be critical of his character?

Looking for a 'loophole' regarding the moratorium, huh? You're just aching to do some 'Trump bashing, right?

I am going to kindly ask the four parties that dwell on this subject to take it back to your liberal and atheist boards if you want to continue to discuss it. This is a conservative website designed to attract mainly conservative traffic. TOL is not to be a clearing house for threads that attack the character of the POTUS. There is enough of that elsewhere. You are welcome to discuss other political issues and policies, The character assassination is going to stop. We didn't do it Obama on a huge scale like this.

I will be handing out infractions to people that disrupt running threads with this topic as well. Enough is enough. Those that spam with cartoons on this subject may find themselves removed as a spammer. Please quit wasting TOL's bandwidth and stretching the threads with these posts.

Our politicians are merely reflection of our society. All that we say about them could be said about you and me too. There are no exceptions to this principle. There are none who can rightly claim to be paragons of virtue.
