Giuliani's project isn't the only one that the right is trying right now...

WASHINGTON - The FBI on Wednesday was investigating threatening emails sent to Democratic voters that claimed to be from the Proud Boys, a far-right group supportive of President Donald Trump, but appeared instead to be a deceptive campaign making use of a vulnerability in the organization's online network.

First identified on Tuesday by local law enforcement and elections officials in Florida and Alaska, the emails were soon turned over to federal authorities, according to U.S. officials speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the matter's sensitivity.

The messages appeared to target Democrats using data from digital databases known as "voter files," some of which are commercially available. They told recipients the Proud Boys were "in possession of all your information" and instructed voters to change their party registration and cast their ballots for Trump.

Giuliani recently acknowledged that he specifically peddled the salacious Hunter Biden laptop story to the New York Post because they wouldn’t “spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out.”

Other news outlets have reportedly passed on reporting on the laptop material for fear that it can’t be verified and may be part of a targeted disinformation effort.

BTW, the supposed Proud Boys voter suppression scam,threatening people if they didn't vote for Trump, is most likely coming from Iranian agents. Russia and Iran are planning military and economic cooperation, and this may be part of the package.

You know what's really hilarious about all this? I don't think the President or anybody in his political cadre needs a security clearance. All that dirty money flowing to the Bidens from Ukraine, Russia and China? Based on that, just based on who they hang out with, actually, a Biden couldn't get a security clearance to clean toilets at Langley.

This is right down the alley of the senselessness of looting and arson now categorized as free speech by leftist whackjobs, calling peaceful protest something of inherent, criminal violence, gender and orifice confusion turned into exalted states, Obama hanging with the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House, despite 9/11? Such are the very reasons no empire has ever been able to survive itself.

Conspiracy theorists would be so bummed-out, the truth be known. Mankind is far too stupid to mess anything up, on purpose.

The Republican Party’s efforts to weaken Joe Biden’s presidential campaign by smearing his son Hunter have officially hit rock bottom. For weeks Trump, the GOP, and the right-wing media machine have been churning out vague allegations that Hunter was involved in some kind of shady deals in Ukraine and China, implying and sometimes outright alleging that the former vice president himself had a hand in these supposed corrupt dealings.

Details on the supposed improprieties have been scarce and constantly shifting but most of the conspiracies center around a laptop that Rudy Giuliani claims used to belong to Hunter and which supposedly contains text messages and files which expose the alleged dealings.

This coordinated and deeply pathetic attempt to salvage Trump’s flagging reelection campaign reached its nadir last night during Tucker Carlson Tonight. The reliably pro-Trump Carlson claimed that one of his producers mailed some trove of “documents” related to the Hunter story to him but that they never arrived. With a completely straight face, Carlson stated that the company which shipped the package discovered that it had been opened and that the contents had “disappeared.”

The clip quickly went viral with viewers unloading a bevy of mockery and incredulous questions. Why did Carlson’s producer not scan the documents and send them digitally? If these materials were so important, why didn’t they make copies before putting them in the mail? If they really did disappear, why didn’t Carlson bring his producer on to explain what was contained in them? The entire thing has a similar feel to a lazy student telling his teacher that his dog ate his homework.
