“Suppose we hit the body with a tremendous ultraviolet or just very powerful light,”
You can do this to water. You can't do this to humans. It will burn skin, possibly cause cancer, and the UV light will not penetrate inside the body. If you had strong enough light to penetrate into the body, you may manage to kill the virus, but you'd be left with a smoking pile of ashes, not a human patient.

The statement shows complete ignorance of basic science. He doesn't need to be an expert in all fields of science, but he should learn how to keep his mouth shut on topics he is ignorant of. I suggest you do the same.

Your ignorance is showing once again.

Look into healight researched and studied by a team of doctors at Cedars-Sinai hospital in california. They have come up with a way to filter out UV-B and UV-C and use just part of the UV-A spectrum which they have proven they can use internally without damaging healthy cells but will destroy both germs and viruses. Plus UV has been used to treat an assortment of diseases for decades.

Do some non-political ideology research for a change.

Most of these references are to skin conditions. The only exception is AYTU, which looks interesting. If President Trump was referring to that, he was doing it in a very very strange way.

So, using UV to treat cancer is trivial and not worth being mentioned? You just got done telling me UV couldn't be used to treat humans. It was too dangerous. I mean anyone who said some such thing ought to just shut up because they know nothing of science. ***rolls eyes*** Seems to me the shoe is now on the other foot.

If you read the discussion in the transcripts it is exactly what Trump was referring to. As you're so fond of saying, Trump is not a doctor. To expect him to be conversant in these technologies with the amount of time just being President takes up is completely unreasonable. So when Trump says inject the disinfectant into the body during a discussion of using light to treat the coronavirus this is what he was referring to as it is the only 4 year hospital run study involving a patented disinfection injection system using UV technology as the disinfectant.

Trump was right, as usual, and the media got it entirely wrong. They're far more ignorant, and guilty of rabid hatred at the same time, than Trump is by far. Just open up your eyes. You will see a desire to smear Trump at all costs even to the point of deliberately lying about him. They could have researched this technology and asked if this was what he was referring to, but, no. They were too intent on bashing him to do the ethical thing. I found it online a very short amount of time. I didn't time myself but it probably took me around 5 to 10 minutes to find this technology, so why couldn't the media with all their resources find it? The answer is they had no desire to find it.

look, I know he is YOUR president.and you do not want to believe that he is ridiculous. so be it. His comments on disinfectants and UV are brilliant, he handled the pandemic fantastically, the earth is flat- whatever it takes. I understand.

The "national liberal media" is guilty, however, of pointing out the disconnect between Trump's words and reality![/SIZE]

That is all the media should be doing rather than giving him free airtime to continue to spread his lies, disinformation and hostile ramblings.
