LA doctor says hydroxychloroquine treatment cures coronavirus in 8 to 12 hours.

In an article from EyeWitness News in LA quotes a doctor saying he is treating very ill coronavirus patients with a combination of hydroxychloroquine and zinc and seeing patients go from barely surviving to symptom free in less than a day.

This in addition to the fact that two other doctors have treated more than 1000 patients without a single death says that there is a cure for coronavirus.

There is a video interview with the doctor that I did not include in the quote.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A Los Angeles doctor said he is seeing significant success in prescribing the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine in combination with zinc to treat patients with severe symptoms of COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine has been touted as a possible treatment for COVID-19 by President Trump among others, but it remains controversial as some experts believe it is unproven and may not be effective.

The drug has long been used for treatment of malaria and conditions such as lupus and arthritis but is not technically approved by the FDA for COVID-19. The agency, however, is encouraging trials and has provided limited emergency authorization for its use to treat COVID-19 patients.

Dr. Anthony Cardillo said he has seen very promising results when prescribing hydroxychloroquine in combination with zinc for the most severely-ill COVID-19 patients.

"Every patient I've prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free," Cardillo told Eyewitness News. "So clinically I am seeing a resolution."

Cardillo is the CEO of Mend Urgent Care, which has locations in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys and Burbank.

He said he has found it only works if combined with zinc. The drug, he said, opens a channel for the zinc to enter the cell and block virus replication.

He added that the drug should not be prescribed for those who are presenting only mild symptoms, as there are concerns about shortages for patients with other conditions who need to take the drug on a regular basis.

"We have to be cautious and mindful that we don't prescribe it for patients who have COVID who are well," Cardillo said. "It should be reserved for people who are really sick, in the hospital or at home very sick, who need that medication. Otherwise we're going to blow through our supply for patients that take it regularly for other disease processes."

Anyone remember the story of the preacher who was arrested for saying zinc is the cure for the coronavirus because of the falsity of his claim? This doctor's statements are verification for the preacher's claim.

Dr. Trump's medicine show: Why is he pushing an unproven drug? Follow the money
April 7, 2020

The top manufacturer of hydroxychloroquine is Novartis. Back in early 2017, soon after the inauguration, Novartis agreed to pay Michael Cohen, Trump's former attorney-slash-fixer, $100,000 per month for lobbying access to the new president. The cash payouts were sent to Cohen's shell company, Essential Consultants, which was also a reputed slush fund for Trump. You might recall that the president used Essential Consultants as an intermediary for alleged hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Indeed, some of those checks were signed by Trump while in the White House.

And no, this isn't some kooky conspiracy to frame Trump. Novartis executives admitted to lobbying Trump with cash payments after they, along with AT&T and several others, were exposed publicly.

All told, Novartis paid Trump more than a million dollars during the year-long agreement, paid out through Cohen's dubious company. Novartis is one of the primary manufacturers of hydroxychloroquine. Two-plus-two equals "what do you have to lose?"

All this is just for starters. The question now is whether Trump has entered into another agreement with a different pharmaceutical corporation, or whether Trump is priming the pump for a renewal of the old one with Novartis. There might be another angle we haven't considered yet. It's difficult to tell at this point, but the history is there. The players, including Cohen and Novartis, have confessed publicly and apologized.

Trump is treating this drug like he's the national spokesman, paid on commission, yet to date there is no peer-reviewed evidence that hydroxychloroquine actually works against COVID-19. In fact, it could have serious side effects — contradicting Trump's whispery, "What do you have to lose?" pitch. Of course it's possible that Dr. Trump's snake oil might work for some patients. We simply don't know. But there's a lot to lose for those who might experience a series of horrendous side effects — taking the wrong medication for the wrong illness has a tendency to do that. Knowing all this, it's ludicrous that the U.S. government under Trump has already invested in 29 million pills, absent any clear information that they're useful against the current plague.

Like the rest of America, Trump's businesses have laid off 1500 workers and closed 17 locations and has creditors that include Deutsche Bank and Palm Beach County!

The major manufacturer of "hydroxychloroquine," this President's drug of choice, is Novartis which agree in early 2017 to funnel $100000 a month into the shell company, Essential Consultants, for facilitate lobbying access to the White House - until it was exposed!

This President's tax returns would have revealed this money trail, which could have been avoided if he has put his finances into a blind trust like other Presidents to insulate him from accusations that he had a monetary interest in promoting "hydroxychloroquine."

While the US federal government neglected to purchase additional stocks of medical protective gear and ventilators, all is not lost because it has invested in 29 million "hydroxychloroquine pills" that have yet to be subjected to clinical trials to determine whether it is the "miracle cure" that the President claims!

Once again you prove the idiocy of your own arguments. Hydroxychloroquine has successfully cured 1049 patients out of 1049 patients in two medical studies. Not a single failure to cure. And in the link to one of your favorite sources of news, ABC, they are reporting that a doctor in LA, which is Democrat country, is curing severely ill coronavirus patients in 8 to 12 hours.

Hmmm.... Pardon me, but your desperation to deride Trump and lack of integrity are showing.

You're really demonstrating who you are. You're desperate for people to die rather than rejoicing that a successful treatment has been found that will save lives. You're willing to smear that news rather than rejoice in it. That fact says an enormous amount about who you are.

Barbarian is this you? The bulldog quality of repeating the same disinformation over and over again no matter how many times it's proven to be false says there is a good chance this is you.

1) It was the personal lawyer of this President, not his critics, that arranged for $100000 month "slush fund" that Novartis was willing to pay - what do you think $1.2 million a year buys?

2) if Novartis had nothing to hide, why did it apologize and stop the payments once they were exposed?

3) its this President, not his critics, that refuses to make his tax returns public - Trump is the first presidential candidate since 1976 who has refused to release them

4) its this President, not his critics, that has refused to arrange to have his finances placed in a "blind trust," to avoid any suspicions of financial collusion

- some studies showing promise involve patients who took the therapies for mild or early-stage illness. Many of those people are likely to recover from the virus on their own.

- patients admitted to the hospital in the United States are generally much sicker than the mildly ill cases cited in such studies when they receive therapy. These factors, doctors said, have made it difficult for them to determine whether the drugs are making a difference.

- “I have seen hundreds of patients with severe COVID and most of these people are on hydroxychloroquine,” Dr Mangala Narasimhan, regional director of critical care at Northwell Health, a 23-hospital system in New York, said in an email. “In my opinion, although it is very early, I do not see a dramatic improvement from the hydroxychloroquine in these patients.”

- Dr Daniel McQuillen, an infectious disease specialist at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, said he has prescribed a course of hydroxychloroquine for about 30 COVID-19 patients so far because the drug has shown “a little bit of antiviral activity.” But he has not seen “marked improvement for patients.”
“Anecdotally, it may have had limited effect in patients with milder disease,” McQuillen said. The therapy “has had no effect in limiting or slowing progression of our patients that have been at or near ICU level

- A research team in Marseilles, France, has published data showing that out of 80 mild COVID-19 patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, 93 percent had no detectable levels of the virus after eight days.
Doctors have questioned the value of the Marseille study and several papers from China as being too small or poorly designed to offer hard evidence of benefit. Most do not compare outcomes of patients who received the malaria therapies with people who did not, considered the most reliable measure of a drug’s effectiveness.
Last week, doctors in Paris reported that they tried to replicate the results of the Marseille study and failed. Results from a trial conducted in Wuhan, China, were released that included a control group of patients who did not receive the anti-malarial therapy for comparison. But critics questioned why information on the trial’s main goal — detecting viral load — was not disclosed, and said data was missing for some patients.

- Within hours of Trump’s initial endorsement on March 19, pharmaceutical supply chain experts reported shortages as doctors began prescribing hydroxychloroquine for themselves and their families. Vizient Inc, which works with about half of the country’s hospitals to buy drugs, told Reuters that orders for hydroxychloroquine jumped to around 1.8 million tablets per day in late March, up from an average of around 40,000 tablets per day in late January.

- “For many lupus patients, (hydroxychloroquine) is a life saver,” patient advocacy group Lupus LA wrote in an emailed statement. “These patients are now having trouble accessing their medication, putting them in a dire situation.”
Several U.S. states and health insurers are taking steps to limit prescriptions, while Trump issued an executive order on March 23 to keep Americans from hoarding or price gouging.

So you descend into fallacy again. Trump's taxes has nothing to do with his effort to make hydroxychloroquine available for treating coronavirus. That fact that to you that he didn't release his taxes negates all the positive things he's accomplished just proves that you suffer from TDS.

Do you even understand what the articles quoting Novartis claim? A lawyer who has proven himself to be crooked and willing to accuse Trump of things ultimately proven untrue is to you someone who is really honest and could never have defrauded both Novartis and Trump. Novartis never talked to Trump and there is zero evidence Trump ever received a nickel that Cohen basically extorted from Novartis. And here you hold this distorted bit of fake news up as an accusation against Trump. Why do you think Novartis said they regretted their interaction with Cohen? Because they found out how crooked the sleazebag is when nothing ever happened. That's on Cohen's shoulders. If he had actually paid the money to Trump do you think Mueller's anti-Trump investigation team in the years they spent investigating Trump would have missed that, if true, clearly impeachable offense didn't shout such provable corruption from the rooftops? They charged Cohen with violations of the law, but made no mention of him being the middle man in what is to you obvious corruption involving Trump and Novartis.

It appears to me that after all Cohen has been proven to have done that he was another plant from the deep state manufacturing evidence as they have been proven to do again and again and again in the last several years. Why do you think the Democrats and the deep state were so positive that Hillary couldn't lose?

You just make me shake my head in amazement at your inability to think things through.

Michael Dean Cohen (born August 25, 1966)

- an American former attorney and convicted felon best known as a lawyer for Donald Trump from 2006 until May 2018.

Cohen was a vice-president of The Trump Organization, and the personal counsel to Trump, and was often described by media as Trump's "fixer." He previously served as co-president of Trump Entertainment and was a board member of the Eric Trump Foundation, a children's health charity. From 2017 to 2018, Cohen was deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Trump employed Cohen until May 2018, a year after the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections began.
The investigation led him to plead guilty on August 21, 2018, to eight counts including campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud.
Cohen said he violated campaign finance laws at the direction of Trump and "for the principal purpose of influencing" the 2016 presidential election.
In November 2018, Cohen entered a second guilty plea for lying to a Senate committee about efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

On December 12, 2018, he was sentenced to three years in federal prison and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
On February 26, 2019, he was officially disbarred by the New York State Bar Association.
He reported to the federal prison near Otisville, New York, on May 6, 2019

That "crooked sleazebag" was employed as Donald Trump from 2006 to 2018 and served as:
- personal counsel to Trump - Cohen became a close confidant and worked almost exclusively for Trump while maintaining an office in Trump Tower
- Trump's "fixer"
- vice-president of The Trump Organization
- co-president of Trump Entertainment
- board member of the Eric Trump Foundation
- deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee despite the fact than Cohen was a registered Democrat and only became a registered Republican on March 9, 2017, after the 2016 Election
- co-founded the National Diversity Coalition for Trump in 2016
- May 2018, it was Rudy Giuliani announced that Cohen was no longer Trump's lawyer

In 2018, Cohen plead guilty to 8 counts including:
- campaign finance violations "for the principal purpose of influencing the 2016 Presidential Election" - at the direction of Donald Trump
- tax fraud
- bank fraud
- lying to a Senate committee about efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow - Cohen gave false testimony in order to be consistent with Trump's "repeated disavowals of commercial and political ties between himself and Russia" and out of loyalty to Trump.

Essential Consultants
- Cohen created a Delaware LLC that was used for business activities that Trump wanted kept from public scrutiny
- at least $4.4 million went through this account between Trump's election and 2018

- Novartis, the major manufacturer of hydroxychloroquine, deposited $100000/month, totaling approximately $!.2 million to understand the "health care policy" of the new administration
- Novartis later decided not to engage Essential Consultants further, but it could not terminate the contract for "cause", raising concerns on why the company did not pursue reimbursement

- AT&T paid $200000 for "insights into understanding" while waiting for the Justice Department to ratify its merger with Time Warner
- AT&T also paid Cohen at least $500000 ($50000/month) to provide "his opinion on the new president and his administration"

- Columbia Nova, linked to Victor Vekselberg, a Ukrainian-born Russian oligarch, deposited $500000
- Vekselberg is a business partner of Soviet-born billionaire and major Republican Party donor, Leonard Blavatnik

- Korean Aerospace Industries paid $150000 for advice on cost accounting standards

- Franklin L. Haney agreed to pay Cohen $10 million if he successfully lobbied for the United States Department of Energy to finance the Bellefonte Nuclear Generating Station

Stormy Daniels
- February 2018 - Cohen claimed that he paid the $130,000 to Daniels from his own pocket so that the payment would not be considered a campaign donation to pay "hush money"
- Cohen used the Delaware LLC Essential Consultants and used it to pay the $130,000]
- April 2018 - Trump finally acknowledged for the first time that Cohen has represented him in the Stormy Daniels case, after previously having denied knowledge of the $130,000 payment
- March 9 - NBC reported that Cohen had used his Trump Organization email to negotiate with Daniels regarding her nondisclosure agreement, and that Cohen had used the same Trump Organization email to arrange for a transfer for funds that would eventually lead to Daniels' payment.
- March 25, 2018 - Daniels said that she had been threatened in front of her infant daughter and felt pressured to later sign a non-disclosure agreement
- after Cohen's August 2018 conviction, Trump stated that the payment to Daniels came from him personally and not from the campaign [h=4]Karen McDougal
- 2016 - Karen McDougal, a former Playboy model, claimed that she and Trump had an affair from 2006 until 2007, a claim that Trump has since denied.
- The National Enquirerpaid McDougal $150,000 for her story but never published it, a practice known as "catch and kill"
- September 30, 2016, Cohen used Resolution Consultants LLC to purchase the rights to McDougal's story from the National Enquirer
- ]according to U.S. election rules, any payments intended to influence an election vote must be reported[/h]

What is the purpose of the President promoting a hydroxychloroquine treatment cures coronavirus when yesterday his Republican Party is are forcing Wisconsin voters out to go to the polls in the middle of a pandemic?

How is democracy, respect for the rule of law, not to mention the promotion of social distancing being served when in Milwaukee there were 5 voting stations for a population of 600000 - 1 for every 120000 people?

Do you mean to tell me that a genius like you can't find the information?

https://techstartups.com/2020/04/06/...irus-patients/

Oh, oh. Dr. Zelenko has had one patient out of 700 die. He didn't follow Zelenko's treatment regimen. Oh, that must mean the treatment doesn't work and is dangerous.

https://techstartups.com/2020/04/05/...t-watch-video/

Notice the cost of the outpatient treatment regimen. $12. Think that is why so many doctors and politicians are denying it works or causes huge problems? They can't get a slice out of the big money available from big pharma using new drugs. Also, big pharma is unhappy with a cheap treatment regimen. They don't get the huge profits from new drugs when generic drugs work and are prescribed. Of course they're throwing cold water on this treatment along with their lobbyists, many of whom are doctors.

Edit: Here is the letter Zelenko sent out to other doctors about how his treatment works and why. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SesxgaPnpT6OfCYuaFSwXzDK4cDKMbivoALprcVFj48/preview

This isn't evidence, there's nothing to actually support his claims and are just assertions without anything concrete to back them up. Do you have corroborated, scientific verification that these claims are legitimate and hold up to testing? If not then you haven't provided anything that can as yet be taken seriously. In the meantime there's an accredited biologist who is warning against it and his credentials in the field of virus combating are beyond dispute:

Yeah, results mean nothing. And especially results that are positive coming from multiple doctors who treating coronavirus patients in different parts of the world who have no links to each other, other than using the same treatment regimen.

Knock it all you want, you're just proving who you are with your objections. They are noted. And they are rejected. You're just proving the left's objection to people being healed without big money being involved. You must hate the fact that people with severe kidney disease have had their kidney disease at best reversed and at the least never have to use dialysis through being treated with baking soda. The fact that doctors used it for decades with great success is meaningless because there weren't any "studies". Those patients who had positive outcomes were just lies by doctors until there was a study that "proved" baking soda was a very effective treatment. All the previous decades of treatment didn't actually work and those patients died horrible deaths until the study was done. After that patients actually lived from the treatment. The entire difference between previous patients dying and post study patients living was the study. It made all the difference because the patients treated previously died from lack of science....

We have many people dying every day in a world wide pandemic, so let's spend months of testing while the deaths mount. Yeah. What a way to help people....

Trump is advocating this so it has to be wrong and the doctors who are reporting success just have to by lying because they care more about their patient's lives than to wait for months for something that has shown results world wide. Ohhh, the lack of "science".... It's heart breaking because without "scientific testing" lives just cant be saved. It's impossible.. We have to have big pharma profiteering or it's all false.

***shakes head in disgust***

I want to see a years long metadata study published in JAMA first
