1. What is the purpose of the Colorado Right to Life?
To work toward the protection of every innocent person, born and unborn, by love and by law.
2. What is your opinion on separation of Church and State? Do you think religion has a place in government?
This question on Church and State is a typical dodge by people who want to distract from the humanity of the unborn child. When Jews were being gassed and blacks lynched, the killers could argue, "Thou shall not murder" as one of the Ten Commandments is religion, and there must be separation of church and state. HS, please don't be deceived by those who would want to distract you from the only relevant questions. A) Is the unborn child an innocent, living human being? And B) Is it ever justified to intentionally kill an innocent human being?
3. In your opinion, when does life begin?
It's not opinion. It's biology. At fertilization, also long referred to as conception, when the 23 chromosomes of the father combine with the 23 chromosomes of the mother and there is a new living human being. By the way, to lie to women, pharmaceutical companies worked with the abortion industry to redefine "conception" to mean "implantation" so that they could refer to mechanical or chemical abortifacients (like the IUD or the Morning After Pill) as contra-ception, instead of what they are, chemical abortifacients. (The IUD works by killing the tiniest children after they are conceived; the manufacturer says of the Morning After Pill that it has two mechanisms: it might prevent fertilization, but if it doesn't, then, like the IUD, it's made the uterine wall inhospitable and causes a spontaneous abortion so that the mother flushes her very young baby down the toilet.
Also of course, human beings don't reproduce pigeons or pigs, but human offspring, children. The unborn baby is not a part of the mom. Half the time he's a boy, with a Y chromosome. And the baby has his or her own DNA, appendages, brain, etc. If the baby is a "part" of the mother's body, then every college level anatomy textbook that omits the baby as part of the mother would be incomplete. The body in her body is not her body.
4. If a life begins at the fetus stage, then abortion would be considered as murder. What kind of punishment do you believe women who get abortions should receive?
Life for life.
Also, life doesn't begin at the fetus stage. A molecular biology course on reproduction can easily correct that notion. Life begins as the single cell stage. See AmericanRTL.org/beginning. At that single cell, there are already either two x chromosomes or an x and a y chromosome. (Political correctness makes even that most basic biology, male and female, incomprehensible to many who would rather be lied to and confused.) If you want to get to the science, and bypass the lies and political correctness, get a good textbook on the anatomy of a horse. You'll see that conception is the beginning of the horse's life. If abortionists were rabbits, they'd set about rewriting the rabbit anatomy books.
5. What is your opinion on cases of rape and incest? Or if carrying out the pregnancy puts the mother['s life] at stake?
HS, I wrote the article at AmericanRTL.org/incest. Abortion for incest is cruel. Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics cover up the crime of incest, and typically send the victim back home to her rapist. Even worse, they often send her home with her rapist, the same criminal who brought her to the clinic.
Abortion for incest:
- emboldens a criminal to rape his young relative;
- helps him escape being caught;
- tempts him to repeat his crime; and,
- is not compassionate because it kills a baby and increases the woman's suffering.

Finally, if you Google: life of the mother, of the two BILLION results (a number you can see when on a desktop computer but not on a phone) Google ranks the article we wrote on the first page of the top ten results, at AmericanRTL.org/life. (Btw, CRTL is a sister organization of ARTL.) That popular article begins, "An 'exception' means a child intentionally killed. A physician should never postpone his efforts to save the mother in order to take time out to kill the child. If a doctor can only save the mother and not the child also, that is a tragedy, but it is not an intentional killing. Unintentional, unavoidable, and accidental death is not the same as intentional killing. The effort to abolish abortion, like a personhood amendment, provides for no exceptions. But what if a pregnancy threatens the life of the mother? The doctor's goal should be to save mom and the baby if possible. The goal should never be to kill the mother to save the baby, nor to kill the child to save the mother. ...
6. Should we, who are so far detached from the situation, have a say in another women's choice of getting an abortion?
Should we, who are so far detached from Germans killing Jews, or racists lynching blacks, have a say in the matter?
7. As a Christian, we are supposed to value all life forms and God's creations. However, why are we so focused on unborn fetus and not the living and breathing lives here today who are suffering?
This question is inane. A thousand or more hospitals in the U.S. have been established in the name of Christ by anti-abortion Christians. If your parents have taught you well, you will apologize for asking such a presumptuous and rude question. If I had read this question first, HS, I wouldn't have wasted the time answering your other questions.
