There are logical arguments to be made on both sides. And they are both valid. (Consistency is irrelevant.)
You have the strangest definition of logic and validity I have ever come across. Logic, by its very nature, is consistent. Validity, by definition, necessitates consistency.

This is why the debate has never been resolved, and why it will not likely be resolved in the near future.
The reason why the debate has never been resolved is because there is significant political pressure to maintain the right for both women and men to choose to avoid the consequences of their behavior over and above the right for an unborn human being to live.

It is not about logic or validity it is about sacrificing the life of a living human being so that other human beings need not own up to their responsibilities. That perverted conclusion continues to underlie the basis for the way the left deals with this issue. Consequently, there is a big discussion and debate over whether or not a living human being who is being subjected to an excruciating death, at least, has the right to have their life ripped from them without being tortured.

We treat dying animals with greater compassion.

There are things both sides can agree on, however: that abortion is not a desirable solution to an unwanted pregnancy.
Why not?

If, as you say, a human fetus is nothing more than a parasitic organism bleeding life from its host (we, on the pro-life side, would probably prefer to call the "parasite" a human baby and the "host" the baby's mother), then why isn't the removal of a parasite a desirable solution?

But let's be honest. You don't think that all unborn babies are parasites, you only think the unwanted unborn babies are parasites.

There is an inherent, illogical, irrational, and immoral premise that no one appears, to be honest enough to say out loud and that is this: a fetus is only a human being if the pregnancy is a wanted pregnancy, the fetus is a parasite if the pregnancy is unwanted.

Can you be honest enough to say that this is your understanding of the issue?
