Trump is popular among his supporters , but a very large percentage of Americans are absolutely disgusted with him , and the same is true with the overwhelming majority of people in Europe, Canada, Australia and elsewhere .
Donald Trump has made America the laughing stock of the world with his unbelievably boorish behavior and speech , his utter cluelessness about the world in general , his incoherent babbling and gibberish , his grotesque narcissism , pettiness , nastiness , his absurdly thin skin ,
his incessant lies , and so on .
But Barack Obama is greatly admired and respected all over the world . As president, he was everything Trump is not : dignified , respectful, well spoken, highly intelligent and likable .
America has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous .

The Republican candidate in Ohio barely eked out a victory in what has traditionally been a "safe" GOP district for decades!
If conservatives had any illusions about the mood of the electorate, that should have been a "wake up call!"
