I like Knight's avatar

Pros: Knight has a cool avatar

Cons: A certain beanie brain started complaining about it. :kookoo:

BTW I will probably be working on an avatar of my internet persona with a cigar. ;)
Cool avatar! I think Treebeard needs to smoke a cigar.

I could give him a cigar for you. I don't think I could animate it and get it to turn out right though.

I don't believe I've given out a bad rep. If I have something to say to a poster, I say it in a thread.

Yeah, I'd rather just put the person on Ignore if I feel like neg repping them.
And even then, I've only ever Ignored 2 posters on TOL.

Pro: It's not the "Christian" forum I first encountered when initially searching for an online hangout.
That place was a monstrosity of fundamentalist conservativism, with mods editing posts WITHOUT WARNING OR CONSENT if they felt you'd said something too "liberal".
No atheists/nonChristians allowed, either.
Needless to say the discussions never left the comfort zones of anyone on the site, and no one had to deal with hard topics posted by people with differing opinions.

...some of you might want to visit, so feel free to PM for the URL.

Cons: The insults can get pretty heavy, and I don't take online discussion seriously enough to return fire most the time.

The TheologyOnline.com TOPIC OF THE DAY for April 27th, 2011 10:10 AM

toldailytopic: TheolgyOnline.com website pros and cons.

Take the topic above and run with it! Slice it, dice it, give us your general thoughts about it. Everyday there will be a new TOL Topic of the Day.
If you want to make suggestions for the Topic of the Day send a Tweet to @toldailytopic or @theologyonline or send it to us via Facebook.

Pros ... it occurred to you to ask the question ... soliciting the input of others in any attempt at self evaluation is wise as we are ever wise in our own eyes ... or, as the Bible says, there is wisdom in the council of numbers.

Cons ... well, honesty demand that I admit that, being a glass half empty kinda' guy, I've likely worked that turf sufficiently for one life ...but, onward I trudge nonetheless ...
