Your statement is correct. God the Father remained in heaven while God the Son came to Earth as the Son of Man.

There is only one God, and He is the Father. See Ephesians 4:6.
Jesus is that one God and Father come in the flesh as a Son of Man.
God is the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. One God, three persons, one Godhead.

Ok, lets go back to your question;
Do you believe in the one God, three in one, Father , Son and Holy Spirit?
Why do you add "three in one" in your question?
Because He is one God expressed in three persons.
Do you now believe in multiple gods, polytheism?
It is not in the scripture. It is out of context with so many of Jesus' own word.

The original version of this verse has the entire verse. Stop trying to revise history by saying that more than half the verse was not written by Matthew.
