The Offense of Religion

Do you really believe that you can reject Christ and his Gospel and still be saved?

Those Christ died for are reconciled saved by God while they are enemies rejecting God and hating God Rom 5:10. I know your natural mind can't receive the things of God. But its Salvation by Grace.

The Offense of Religion

The offense of a religion is to plagiarize from another to enhance itself. Evidence? Christianity from Judaism. That's akin to Replacement Theology.

How dumb.

Christianity is the offspring of Judaism. It came out of Judaism and replaced Judaism.

The Old Covenant has passed away and the New Covenant has arrived, Hebrews 8:13.

You are like a person that is still driving a 1929 model T. You need to update to Christianity.

Nope, I certainly don't, but I believe Jesus is an equal opportunity Savior.

Only those that have embraced Christ and his Gospel will be saved.

If you don't believe that Jesus has saved you from your sins, you will never see heaven.

That's Salvation by works. Those Christ died for are reconciled to God, saved, while they are enemies and unbelievers hating and rejecting God Rom 5:10 !
I have never seen anybody like you that has their doctrine so messed up. You are the laughingstock of TOL

Jesus doesn't need your help or your religion to save you.

"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the UTTERMOST that come unto God by him (Jesus Christ) seeing that he lives to make intercession for them" Hebrews 7:25.

Example. You have a medical problem. So, you call a specialist and make an appointment to see him, but you want to bring along your old practitioner when you go to see him. How do you think that the specialist (Jesus) is going to feel about you needing your old practitioner (religion) there.

There is no room in the Gospel for Calvinism, Catholicism, or any religion. Jesus is the savior and he saves to the UTTERMOST. No religion needed. Religion is not an indication of faith. It is an indication of the absence of faith. Religion is about you and what you do. The Gospel is about Jesus Christ and what he has done on your behalf.

Jesus doesn't save us by doing something in us (religion). Like making us holy or good enough. Jesus saves us by doing something totally and completely outside of us. Paul wrote, "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us". Before we were born salvation had been provided for us by the doing and the dying of Jesus, no religion needed (the old practitioner).

Jesus is at the right hand of God in heaven, a place of honor, privilege and respect. He is there mediating his righteousness and his atonement for our sins. When God looks at us all that he can see is his Son Jesus Christ, "For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God" Colossians 3:3. I don't know about you, but that is exactly where I want to be. I don't want God to see me in this sinful Adamic body. I want to be hid with Christ in God.

It is interesting that Jesus did not start a church himself. The 3 times Jesus uses the "church" word in the Gospels are believed by scholars to be spurious later edits to the text.

Do you really mean the "kingdom of God on earth" gospel or Paul's "Jesus died for your sins" gospel?

There is only one Gospel that justified the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Jesus spoke about the Kingdom over 100 times.
The message of the Hebrew Scriptures is establishment of God's kingdom on earth.

Somehow this was all forgotten about when Paul told everyone that Jesus died for their sins.
