The Catholic Church certainly doesn't teach that Popes can't or don't commit personal sins, even occasionally sins of a serious nature. For example, the first Pope, St. Peter, repeatedly and publicly denied Jesus Christ, and abandoned him to a criminal's execution. However, he was Christ's own appointed man to guide and teach the faithful in Christ's own name and by his very authority (Mt. 16:18-19; 28:18-20; Lk. 10:16; Ac. 15:2; 16:4; 1 Tim. 3:15).

So you merely stated the obvious fact that "popes can sin," which no Catholic here denies. Congratulations.

Peter wasn't your first Pope. That's total non-sense. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Peter's coming to faith, a priori to receiving the Holy Spirit, and the popes full of sin and homosexuality ,not to mention the greed and selling of fake 'indulgences'. Your church died and is now a worldly and material institution.

-who do you trust?
-the church Jesus built on a rock

I trust God... and distrust people.

Just as we are called to do.

Jesus is that Rock... the chief cornerstone of the church... and he governs it via his Holy Spirit and not a physical wannabe bunch of fornicating italians in robes.
