The Church, the Body of Christ was in the Old Testament. Here its called tbe City of God Ps 46:4

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

Feel free to let us know when you actually do find that Church which is The Body of Christ "hid in God" in the OT.

Rom. 5:8; 14:5.

Israel under the old covenant was ethnic and of the flesh.

Israel under the new covenant is spiritual and of the heart.

Dispies try in vein to make the new covenant of faith into the same failed old covenant of the flesh.

Amen, and the Fountain of God's Grace upon the City of God, the Church, is also depicted as the tabernacle or house of David in Zech. 12:10, which later occured on the Day of Pentecost exclusively upon the members of Christ's Church which also includes the Gentiles Acts 15:16-17, Called and Saved according to God's Purpose and Grace given them In Christ Jesus before the World began 2 Tim. 1:9.

Absolutely. Very instructive !

The Church, the Body of Christ in the OT is here called the Nation, the people chosen for His Own Inheritance.

Ps 33:12

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

The NT counterpart is the Church Chosen in Christ Eph 1:4 Gods own Inheritance Eph 1:18

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

1 Pet 2:9

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Thou hast well said.

Israel in the new testament are all those with circumcised hearts not circumcised flesh.

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col. 2:11-13

Amen, this One Holy Nation Ps. 33:12 is One Body In Christ Chosen in Him, His Inheritance:

Eph. 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph. 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling

The Israel of God was never a physical nation, made up of flesh, but a Spiritual Nation made up of all those born of the Seed of Christ: Not of the flesh but of the Spirit, the Nation which consists of all the Spiritual Seed of Abraham Rom. 9:8, the Seed of Christ, His Body he gave Himself for Eph. 5:25, purchased with His Own Blood Acts 20:28.

Gal. 3:16, 29
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This passage is about the circumcision of Christ, on the cross, when his flesh was cut off from his soul and spirit.

The foundation spoken of in the OT is Christ Isa 28:16

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

This applied to the Church the Body of Christ 1 Cor 3:11

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Rom 10:11

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Eph 2:20

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
corner stone; Or Foundation

1 Pet 2:6

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone[foundation], elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

You hyper-calvinists are something else. How could the church of Christ be established before the coming of Christ? The Church was established on Pentecost.

Tell that to Stephen who said "This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:" Acts 7:38

He knew Who was in the burning bush, at Sinai and in the moving cloud His body to guide and comfort...already giving us the Words of Life...the bread of life...

They rejected Stephan too for reminding them Yahushua was the I Am now glorified and returned to the right hand of Yah...killed him for it...

pharisees...from Jerusalem to Rome... always trying to supplant the True Shepherd to mislead His flock

Christ the Precious Cornerstone Is. 28:16 is Israel.

Is. 49:3
And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

And the name of His Sheep is Israel Mat. 15:24, comprised of Believing jews and Believing gentiles, which make up the whole House if Israel, His Body, the Church Col. 1:18. They share the same Name because of their Spiritual Union:

Eph. 1:4-5
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

And He has redeemed them with His own Blood Eph. 1:7 by which they have received an Inheritance Eph. 1:11: Eternal Life!

Also, Christ and those Chosen In Union with Him are both referred to in scripture as "Elect" Is. 42:1; 1 Pet. 1:2 Titus 1:1.

All the Elect of God are Israel, Chosen of God.

Deut. 7:6-7
6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

They are the only portion of humanity that is Promised Salvation!

Is. 45:17
But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Is. 45:25
In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Another way we know from scripture that the Church, Christ's Wife existed in the OT is John the baptist words here Jn 3:29

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Now who is John referring to as the bridegroom here ? Its surely Jesus Christ. And technically because Christ had not yet died, the OT Covenant Law period was still in force, but yet During this time Christ is spiritually recognized as the bridegroom, having a bride, which I believe is the Church Eph 5
