Actually, it's kind of amazing to see how many left-wing liberals there are on TOL. Among those who claim to be a "true Christian", one would think there wouldn't be many or very few, far left-wing, liberal minded posters. I find that rather shocking. I can see why an atheist/agnostic would cling to the present Democrat Party, that would be a given. The Democrat Party has gone over to the "Dark side" at least since the election and perhaps earlier.

According to the Pew surveys, the majority of Christian denominations lean a little towards the Democrats, with the evangelicals and especially the Mormons leaning heavily to the Republicans.

Mormonism is a "Cult." There's only one TRUE Christian Church today and it includes all of those who are in "The Body of Christ." If you're NOT in "The Body of Christ," you're not a TRUE Christain.

Actually, there's a lot of myth in that. Pollsters at the state and local levels did, but the national polling fared fairly well, especially late in the race. And, as some will point out, even the misses were mostly over the degree of Clinton's popular vote win, one that didn't translate to an electoral win. Much of the discrepancy that translated to that EC win lived in the plus/minus.

Trump has never said anything to promote violence. I think he (driver) is a domestic terrorist and should be executed for murder. As should be many of the violent protestors who were rioting in protest of the klansmen who don't want history taken down. The klan is a minor issue. They have no power or support.
