I'll start with the Oatmeal Stout, please. Never heard of an Oyster stout. Recommend it?

It's...different. I'll say that. They actually use oysters in the brewing process. I suppose it is an acquired taste, but I like it.

Hmmm...Well, I'm always game for a new beer. Never heard of it being around my area, but I'll look out for it. Thanks for the idea.

I had a couple Samuel Smiths to ring in the new year!

Nice! I haven't had Sam Smith's in a few months, so I'll need to grab one again. I rang in the new year with a couple of Sierra Nevada Stouts, though. That is...if drinking the beers then falling asleep at 9:30 can be considered ringing in the new year. :chuckle:

If you want to try a true oyster, however, you should avoid the Marten's label. It uses the designation in name only. It's good to drink while eating oysters, in other words.

If you can, hunt down an Oyster beer brewed at the Porterhouse Brewery in Dublin. Then you can really get a good sample.

Or, the next time you are in Vegas, we'll go to one of several places here that I know that has it on tap.

Sorry for that long delay. There are some serious deliberations going on as to the order of these selections. The TOL Headquarters is a war room right now.
