Answer the questions unequivocally with a yes or no.

Heir,
re 184.
Forgiveness doesn't mean you wont' sin again. Imputation of righteousness deals with the debt not the tendency to sin. This is the same sense as Dan 9's: 'to put an end to sin.'
Prob the reason he said something about the reduction of sin was because of the Spirit at work in people, not the old way.
Prob the reason he said that about teachers is that it's essential message is so clear, direct, etc. You know what Judaism was like right, with all the names you had to line up? Do you know the background of 7:29.

This is a discussion, heir. We do not "report" to you. If you don't like that you should leave.

That at that time ye were without Christ being alien from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise having no hope and without God in the world.

You say you are still a stranger from the covenants of promise...an alien still to the commonwealth of Israel...and so you show in all your posts for you say the promises are not for us but for the Jews.

Instead of reading the scriptures you allow somebody to spoonfeed you false doctrine.
I am, just as anyone today is, who has trusted the Lord after hearing and believing the gospel of the grace of God: a fellowheir (just as the Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians) and of the same Body (with Paul, the Romans, Corinthians Galatians, Thessalonians) and partaker of God's promise in Christ by the gospel (Ephesians 3:6 KJV)!

It had/has NOTHING to do with Israel or covenants as Ephesians 2:11-12 KJV so perfectly states! You gag on the spoon of sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4:3 KJV). Poor babe (1 Corinthians 3:1 KJV).

Simple questions. Simple answers. Please, do.

Has God caused you to walk in His statutes? The answer is either "Yes" or "No". What say you?

Do we have teachers or an an unction? The answer is either: "teachers" or "an unction". What say you?

Do you sin? The answer is either: "Yes" or "No". What say you?

By the time you and I came around, Israel was no longer. Gentiles such as we were never promised anything, but a curse. Get a clue.

Heir,

You are totally unfamiliar with how Gen 1-11 segues to the Abraham narrative. The Bible's worldwide message is set up by 1, establishing that the Seed of Eve will be for the redemption of all mankind, and 2, that same Seed will come through the specific line of Abraham in spite of his ancestry or observance of ceremony (asleep during the covenant cutting) or ability to procreate.

Heir,
as for your simple questions, here's the one for you:

Can anyone but Christ be THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS of the NC? When did he start providing that? Rom 3? 2 Cor 3-5? Gen 15?

A great example of NT using OT. Lk 22 quoting Is 56 re the house of prayer. This passage is quoted and used because the house of prayer was the one that came to be after the exile and during the NT. So when Jesus complains that it had become a den of terrorists, it is on top of the fact that everyone in Judaism thought it had been that house of prayer, not something in the distant future.

In addition, the Sovereign Lord who gathers the exiles (which he had done) says he will gather still others to those already gathered. That is the nations who will believe the Gosple. We already know he is speaking of the NT period because he already referred to the house of prayer as being in place by then.

And btw it is the house of prayer for all nations. This finds its true fulfillment in Christ.

It would expose that you're a know it all that is crassly literal, so you wouldn't recognize what it was saying anyway.

It is speaking to Judaism and we have the example of Paul and other apostles. He already says it is in effect for all who believe. Enjoy it.

Who are you again, that everything is supposed to stop for your yesses and nose?

Christ is our righteousness, our king of righteousness.
