The media has flat out lied often during my 43 years in an effort to influence me to the left. Is that what the crying is about? They finally got caught?

The US Presidency has a ridiculous amount of power- the Founding Fathers pretty much made a hybrid republic-monarch :chuckle:

The ride is over, libs. Mind the gap and exit to your far right!

Basically the Russians hacked both the DNC and RNC, but chose to release information about the DNC as they viewed Trump as the preferred candidate given the two choices.

incorrect, phishing emails were sent to the RNC and DNC but the RNC spam filter blocked all the phishing emails.

Interesting,
So in DC the President appoints the Commander of the National Guard.
Being a Political appointment they can be replaced with a new Pres and submit a letter of resignation to stream line things.
In this case the Trump Administration chose to accept that resignation and appoint a replacement for this General that was appointed under Bush.

So, Trump wanted to make sure His Guy was running the Guard in DC the moment he takes office.

Who fired Nat’l Guard Commander for Inauguration?

Writes Tom Mullen:

Hello Lew,

This is like something out of Oliver Stone’s JFK. The national guard commander in DC has been ordered to step down at 12:01 PM on Friday, the minute Trump takes office. He is in charge, among other things, of the air cover over the event. But here is what’s even weirder.
WaPo first reported the story, saying he had been asked to step down, and “The Army and officials with Trump’s transition team did not immediately respond for comment.” That means they waited five minutes and printed it. The story says nothing about this being Trump’s idea, but…
TPM says, “Trump Orders DC National Guard Chief To Leave In Middle Of Inaugural Ceremony,” based on nothing but the WaPo story it links to, which doesn’t say this was Trump’s idea. So, where did they get that info? They made it up.
The Week does the same thing.
There are others all reporting Trump demanded this officer resign his post and turn it over to an interim commander right in the middle of the ceremony, but there is apparently no source for that info except WaPo, which doesn’t say it was Trump’s idea.
What is going on?
Best regards,

I can assure you the Russians did more than phishing. Both were hacked, but only Hillary got burned by it because of their choice as to what to release.
