Nanja this guy amr isnt sound at all. He denies Justification from eternity based upon the Suretyship Engagement of Christ for His People from before the foundation!
Not following how eternal justifcation, a heretical view you and Nanja hold, is related to what I have posted. My point is simple, God does not do the believing and repenting for a regenerated person.

Agree? If not, please explain. Or, is Nanja unable to speak for herself?

Read that scripture again. No one will be be saved if they do not obey.

The ungodly ones Christ died for, by His One Obedience unto death for them, they were Justified, Made Righteous!

Rom. 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

A point of distinction.

The work of regeneration is monergistic (Eze. 36:26). Wholly the work of God. Not one iota the work of man.

At the instant of that re-birth (regeneration), the one so regenerated will not not believe. Indeed, he or she will want to believe and repent and will irrevocably do so. That is synergistic. God is not doing the believing or repenting for the one so regenerated.

Robert's error is that he thinks he is able and can decide to be born anew (regenerated). This view presumes that one controls whether or not one is regenerated, despite the clear teaching of Scripture that the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit is akin to the wind, blowing about we know not where. Accordingly, Robert's belief system makes a human work out of the regenerative process and gives the one believing a reason to boast while making God a debtor. May it never be.

Your error, Nanja, unless I have misunderstood your quote above, is assuming too much as relates to the work of God in giving the lost a new heart.

Agree?

AMR is a denier of the Gospel and justification by faith, that was clearly taught by Paul and is confirmed by the scriptures.

All that were saved in the New testament were saved because they heard and believed the Gospel, Galatians 3:2 also Hebrews 4:2.

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17. Which is the Gospel.

You deny the Gospel sir. Anyone who teaches that sinners Christ shed His Blood for are still lost, they deny the Gospel!

Amen Sister Nanja, that person elevates their own obedience above Christ's. They deny Christ obedience saves but affirms their own obedience will save them.

Jesus obeyed so that we have someone to obey.

Woe! Serious error!

Thats right, When one believes that they may as well say that one isnt justified until their act of believing. Pate would say its the natural mans act of believing that got him justified, but amr would say its the regenerated mans faith that got him justified before God, both are serious errors and promote justification by the works of the person and deny Justification before God on the sole basis of the Person and Blood of Christ !

So sad that such a ridiculous false denomination as the Calvinists are, all because of a misunderstanding about what Paul was saying about no works.

Perfectly stated! No one's faith justifies them before God, but the Faith given in New Birth serves as an instrument which reveals to them what their Surety Christ Jesus Heb. 7:22 accomplished on their behalf [His Sheep] from Everlasting Rom. 5:9-10; Eph. 1:7; Rom. 3:24; Is. 53:6.

Merry Christmas Brother !

Merry Christmas Brother !

I gave you scriptures about dogs not sheep, and they would be saved later after Jesus was crucified.
However, they had faith before they could be saved. You just ignore the scriptures about it. Why?

Robert fails to reconcile 2 Tim. 2:25 with all the usual verses he tees up. While our faith and repentance is our own, it did not originate from within us. God grants faith and repentance. Robert, on the other hand, thinks he can muster up faith all by himself.

In fact, in our naturally stubborn, rebellious hearts the whole notion of repentance is foreign. Just as our righteousness is a foreign, or “alien,” righteousness from Christ, so is our repentance. It is granted to us by God Himself. We would not even conceive of such a thing left to ourselves. Instead, we would come up with all sorts of excuses for our sin and would point our depraved fingers at everyone else around. But by His grace, God grants repentance to His adopted children whom He patiently disciplines: “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent” (Rev. 3:19).

You were taught wrong about what that scripture means.

2 Timothy 2:25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

Did you read that, Sir?

Why would it matter if we speak gently to those we are trying to convince?

It matters because if you don't speak gently, they will get defensive and they will harden their heart more. They will get defensive. But if you speak to them gently, they might hear the message that saves; they might hear it how it is about repenting of sins, and they might too repent and be saved.

Nonsense and more evidence I have previously pointed out of your selective use of various translations to support you bizarre views. You try to smuggle in 4 outlier versions by your post above: NIVUK, NIV, AMPC, AMP.

You are caught once again.

If you are going to claim God's truth, try to find the one word of God you believe most and stick to it rather than this Whack-A-Mole translation tactic of yours.

You are truly odious, lady.

I'll use any translation you want.

King James Bible
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

What I said about that scripture stands.
In meekness one is to instruct those who are in error. That is so the person will not get defensive and thus harden themselves from hearing the truth and then they won't repent.

Think about why in the world would it matter how meek, how gentile one speaks to the other they are trying to correct.

Paul plainly tells us that faith comes by hearing the Gospel.

"So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Which is the Gospel, Romans 10:17.

"Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith" hearing and believing the Gospel. Galatians 3:2.

On the day of Pentecost 8,000 Jews heard Peter's Gospel and were converted to Christ, Acts 2:41.

God does not just zap people with the Holy Spirit. They must first hear and believe the Gospel.
