Not the death I was talkin' about.

The letter killeth, the spirit gives life.

Yes, but, we both know there is only One who was able to truly die to Himself. The rest of us who seek grace are reliant on that and Him and have and always will come up shy of that mark shy of resurrection. Were it not so anyone could have offered Jesus' sacrifice and would not be in need of the grace offered to those who believe in the power of said sacrifice.

Want to get stoned? Suggest to the name it and claim it crew that they might yet be lacking something.

BY the Death of Christ,

We are freed FROM Death...

IF we are repenting, and

IF we are baptized into Christ, and

IF we ABIDE in Him...

Prior to Christ, we were tyrannized by Death,
And in that tyranny, we all have sinned...
And we still CAN...

To ABIDE is to continually WALK in Christ...
He who abides to the end, will be saved...

Salvation is a really big IF...

1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV

27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection : lest that by any means , when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

This is what you meant when you said of Paul:
"He learned to get under his body. " ?

You don't need to learn Greek in order to work with the Greek...

But the text does not support your interpretation.

Do you use Strongs?

"Keep under" does not mean, nor does it presuppose, "to get under" in that passage...

It means "to keep under/bring into subjection"...

It means to make one's body OBEY one's mind...

Most of us obey our bodies...

Spiritual life can seem like a fantasy
to those who give heed to seducing spirits
and doctrines of devils.

I am beginning to think that the old Maddists here
were just Calvinists on steroids
with a new non-Calvinist mid-Acts doctrine...

1Cor 11:31
For if we should judge ourselves,
we should not be judged.

It is not helpful to accuse others of being demonized,
because as Paul says,
those who accuse others are themselves doing what they accuse.
It is what the Pharisees did...
Judgmental Hypocrisy...

Rom 14:13
Let us therefore not judge one another any more:
but judge rather this:
That no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion
to fall in his brother's way.

You and I are called to join instead with the Publican...

And to NOT thank God for making us UNLIKE those dirty-dog sinners OVER THERE...
But instead, together with the Publican,
who could not even lift his eyes from the dirt of his own soul,
to condemn ourselves and beseech God in agony of soul,
that He have MERCY on us...

Rom 14:17
For the Kingdom of God is...
Righteousness, and
Peace, and
Joy
In the Holy Spirit.

And it is here and now at hand...
For those who are repenting...
And who get baptized...
Into Christ...

Thanks be to God!

So does this mean that I am NOT the Curse Spammer??

when you get past you triune confusion,

Well, the Trinity of God is a Triune Fusion of One Essence...

your ideas of salvation are flawed - you crucify Christ again -

That would mean I got baptized twice
rather than deal with my own repentance after the first Baptism...
Heb 6:6 - The Church understands this passage as referring to Baptism by "renewal again unto repentance."
And this because such a "renewal" IS Baptism... There is only one RE-NEW, and after that, it is USED, so to speak...
So why would you say such a thing?

If you want to make a point with Scripture, please cite the Scripture and make the point... I do not do long lists of other people's Scriptural choosings... And especially so when they do not show which passage means what in their personal interpretation...

Here is your long unexegeted list:
[I know, it can get longer -
But you might just as well say: "Read the Bible..."
eg It is not helpful for me...]

Hebrews 6:1 KJV -

Hebrews 6:4 KJV -

Well, it is accounted for in the Bible but not in the detail some would prefer and certainly not in enough detail to preclude no small amount of questionable speculation on the part of man. It is interesting to note that though both heaven and earth shall pass away the Logos shall remain.

It can all be accounted for lexically and exegetically. The key is not to make historical presumptions and exclusions.

Cant hurt, they may glean a little insight into God's sovereignty:)

Those whom I'm humbly privileged to disciple have a high view of God's sovereignty that is unmatched. They know how timelessness interfaces with time, and of the end before the beginning.

I don't know why you're on this tyrade, but you have grossly misunderstood things if you think my lack is regarding God's sovereignty.
