Are you for real? What you mandate is based on what if not your own ideals on biblical law? You are a little busy body prude who wishes to enforce laws on society whereby anything other than a heterosexual married relationship would be against the law. No way on this planet would that come about via Western secular law. It would have to come about through totalitarian measures - aka Uganda et al. Well, since you mention the above, you might be amazed at how many folks, including some Christians, have been involved in such relationships. Today we call it 'Polyamory'. And 'no', you don't have the right to interfer in any polyamorous relationship.

But Art, you implied that if a society enforces moral laws (which basis does comes from the Bible) that society would have to also enforce some kind of 'state religion'. A totalitarian society enforces laws on the population and in your case a theocratic one would do the same. Sure, you can't force anybody to believe the same as you do, no society can control the inner beliefs of anyone but enacting laws that impinge upon people's personal freedom based on such is a totalitarian state. This is what you advocate. You may not be denying people the rights to be agnostics/atheists or whatever but you are for policing people's personal and private sexual lives because of your own 'morals'. It's not like it'll happen but why so shy about just admitting it?

It isn't totalitarian to have laws that prevent murder, rape, child molestation, violent abuse etc. The reasons as to why are so glaringly apparent no explanation is needed as to why. A state that imposes laws on the population governing and policing private lives where anything outside of heterosexual marriage isn't tolerated is what exactly?
