Here is an example

Matt. 5:21 "You have heard that the ancients were told, 'You shall not commit murder' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.' 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty.....

Jeremiah said the new covenant would be different, and I want to know how so.

I believe Jesus observed and taught the Law.

The New Testament scriptures are different from the new covenant though they speak of it.

When Jesus spoke of the new covenant was He speaking of what Jeremiah wrote?

The new covenant came to be in Jesus Christ about 2000 years ago.
