There could be NO salvation without redemption, redemption being the only foundation upon which it can only stand. That is 101 stuff.

We have redemption through His blood and notice what it's according to!

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

When I consider what Paul says the Lord gives me understanding!

2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

2 Timothy 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Our belief is required.

Yes it is, but your interpretation of the KJV old English rendering is causing you to subtly insert an idea into the text that isn't there.

What Paul is describing is that, basically it's not what people do, it's what they believe, that is the cause of justification.
Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.
"Faith of" is old English for simply saying "faith in", as it is shown in all the modern translations. "Faith of" is simply to explain that it is faith in the gospel of Jesus, not Jesus own personal faith justifying us.

But, in actuality it was the Faith OF Jesus that, by the result of His perseverance shown in His allegiance to God that God could not refuse either His resurrection or salvation by His act because __ He could not deny nor violate, Himself. That is what intimacy produces.

His faith in God caused him to do the works to provide the grace as a gift from God to us. It is not Jesus' faith that is given to us for justification, it is our faith that takes hold of justification by simply believing the gospel.

What website taught you that? Show us, bible corrector, whose "doctrine" determines what the word of God is, and what it should say, and, if it does not, you'll find a "modern" "version" that does. Correcting any version/translation/source, to fit your "doctrine," presupposes an authority over it.

Have a seat.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

NIV
Galatians 2:16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no-one will be justified.

RSV
Galatians 2:16 yet who know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law, because by works of the law shall no one be justified.

NKJV
Galatians 2:16 "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

It's a show of desperation when a religious group depends on Elizabethan English in order to embrace a stupid theory.

His faith in God caused him to do the works to provide the grace as a gift from God to us.

In this, grace is not the gift but the realization of [pleasing] faith __ salvation being the result. His faith was OF the Mind of God, something different. So now where is the distinction?

It is not Jesus' faith that is given to us for justification, it is our faith that takes hold of justification by simply believing the gospel.
So "what is the gospel" becomes the question we find ourselves discussing. I believe it is our faith that takes hold of HIM. I don't believe you won't argue with that. . ;) because by taking hold of Christ we take hold of His FAITH that makes it happen. cf Gal.2:20 using the old english of the KJV. . . ;) OMT: In yellow is what we are given to protect by the new birth.

The righteous were justified by their faith without the blood. So question: what was the blood for?

andycain: It's a show of desperation when a religious group, such as andycain's, depends on:

- "Koine" Greek, which they cannot read/write/understand/speak, and a language that even Greeks no longer speak/ read/write/understand/know, today,

-"the modern English," which does not exist, as there is no such thing as "modern," as languages, by definition, become "archaic" every day........

Wussup wit dat? My bad....Snuff the punk....

-a demand that LORD God, talk to them, like they talk to their buddies, on their cell phone, an informal, "cool" LORD God ...........

....in order to make the bible fit/agree with/support their stupid theory, and, if it does not, they will correct the source authority, or find one, that does.

So there.

Bible correctors, like andycain, are the final authority.

Contrasts, between andycain, and bible believers.
