Why in the world would anyone think someone needed to preach to the Jews about God's grace? To the Jews God's grace was a given.

Some, but not all. Only a small remnant of the Jewish nation were given God's grace to understand and believe the Covenant promises of a Savior who would come from the seed of David.

Paul is referring to congregations in Gentile cities such as Antioch in Syria as opposed to the congregation in Jerusalem.

Nonetheless he uses the term "churches of the Gentiles."

If Dan is right and there are no Gentiles in the churches then why would Paul refer to those churches as the "churches of the Gentiles"?

Hi and you have not read it right !!

In the flesh there are Jews and GENTILES in the EKKLESIA BUT when we BAPTIZO / PLACED into the Body of Christ , then Gal 3:28 apply and I am right !!

When Christ comes back His B O C THEN there will never again be Jews , GENTILES , Slaves , Free , Male or Female , how simple is that !!

It refutes you ideas about the meaning of Galatians 3:28:

"Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles" (Ro.16:4).

If there are no Gentiles in these churches which he mentions then why does he refer to those churches as "the churches of the Gentiles"?

Hi Jerry , and can you explain wht Paul CONgtradicts Paul or why does the Holy Spirit contradicts Gal 3:28 by Rom 16:4 ??

What does Rom 16:4 mean ??

Why are you WRONG ??

The NT Gospel community is not chocked with distinctions. Just because the expression 'churches of the gentiles' is there does not support any of these conclusions:

that there were intentionally distinct-race churches
that a church might have started in one ethnic group and always stuck to that ethnic group
that a name like 'churches of the gentiles' cannot mean it is a generalization with significant exceptions.
