The prediction was based upon the false claim that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. Most of the world does not participate. There has not been a huge shift in usage nor reduction, yet ice went way up. Gore said a was going to happen because of b. Cause and effect. Not only did a not happen, the opposite happened.
