God is Jesus vs. Jesus is God

The holy Spirit is God the Father and God the Son.

The Father and Son are united in spirit and purpose as a holy Spirit.
That is not what the Bible says:

Matt 28:19 (AKJV/PCE)
(28:19) ¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The one entity known the three titles “human,” “father,” and “son” is certainly one.

But there is a flaw in the analogy, I think.

The human knows everything the father knows, and the son knows everything the father and human know.

But you as son did not yet know what it was like, you did not know what a father knows.

God the Father came as a Son and found out what a human son knows.

Yet Jesus said there was something He did not know that the Father did know.
Because God really came as a man. He didn't pretend to, He really did it. He was born into the world as a baby and had to grow and learn as all humans do.

And the human is not greater than the father who is not greater than the son, yet Jesus said the Father was greater than He.

Well, you are separating the father from the human part, just like the trinitarians separate God up. The trinitarians do not even call the Father 'God'---as if He needs two lesser to make Him God. You are trying to find fault with my analogy, and that is okay, but you have a lot of problems with the trinity doctrine and you should be concerned with that just as much or more.

Here is a major problem for the trinitarians, in epic proportions...they say the word 'God' is plural.

The trinitarians say the Father by Himself is not God---but they refuse to say the Father and Son are not separate?!

Where is common sense?
Are you equally comfortable with the two sentences below:
1) Jesus is God
2) God is Jesus
?

I am comfortable with the two sentences.

Thanks.

I think my source of discomfort with “God is Jesus”is that the name God may be, for lack of better terms, “more inclusive” or “broader” than the name Jesus.

Could we say that Jesus is the mirror in which we see the Father?

A mirror?

Tell me this, when you see Jesus one day, are you going to wonder when you will see the Father?

Excuse me but the Father is not a Spirit?

The Bible says He is.

One Spirit revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

You can use the word three 'titles' if you would like.

You are three are you not? Are you a human, a father, and a son? Would you like to say three 'titles'?
Yes, one person can have all those titles, but that one person cannot be a father to himself, or a son to himself.
He can only be a father to another person, or a son to another person.

God is three; but the three are ONE and one means the same.

God is not three different and separate people.

God is the Father. The trinity doctrine says He is not God by Himself; yet the trinity doctrine says He is separate from the Son and Holy Spirit.

Nonsense.

God is three;
Three distinct persons.

but the three are ONE and one means the same
No. "one" does not mean the same.
Being one with Christ does not make you Christ.
It makes you one family (ie. many distinct members) as one UNIT, not one INDIVIDUAL person.

God is not three different and separate people.
GOD is a unity of three distinct persons making one UNIT, as a family is.

God is the Father. The trinity doctrine says He is not God by Himself; yet the trinity doctrine says He is separate from the Son and Holy Spirit.

Nonsense.
The trinity doctrine recognizes that the scriptures presents the unity of GOD as a triune unity ---- three distinct persons.
We must go by what scriptures presents.
And scripture presents the Father as a distinct person sending the Son as another distinct person.
It presents the Son as a distinct person crying out to another distinct person, the Father.
And is why scripture can say that the Son was with the Father.
For any of that to be reasonable and make any logical sense, they must be distinct persons.
Otherwise, scripture would present GOD as some sort of confused schizophrenic that thinks He is one person at one moment and another person at another moment.
GOD is not the author of confusion.

One name and no other name by which we must be saved.

Distinct means ‘different’. God is NOT three different persons!
A distinct family would be one particular family from another particular family.
But the distinct persons of that particular family are all members (plural) of that one distinct family and are separate distinct persons making one unit (one distinct family).

If it like that, then you cannot say Jesus is God!
