Justification of life !

Justification of life !

Most of all who quote Rom 5:18, do so in ignorance, without having the slightest notion what it means , what it is teaching Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

In particular part b is a abused truth; Now in short it is saying that by one righteous act [done solely by Jesus Christ] results in Justification of life, and that also results in Life being given. See Justification makes all for whom Christ died Righteous Rom 5:19b

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

And because they are now Made Right with Him, God is Just in giving the Life, a impartation of Life; Because all for whom He died have been declared Legally Righteous before Him, and so a corresponding inward dispostion of Spiritual life of the same is granted them !

Did condemnation come upon the Elect ?

Did condemnation come upon the Elect ?

Did condemnation come upon the Elect of God ? For it is written plainly in Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

So Yes it did come upon all of them but only to light on Christ, their condemnation as is described in Rom 5:18 was imputed to Christ instead of them. That word condemnation is the greek word katakrima means:

I.damnatory sentence, condemnation, punishment following condemnation, penal servitude, penalty.

properly, the exact sentence of condemnation handed down after due process (establishing guilt).

But in Christ a provision for them in a Covenant agreement, A Suretyship for them, this provision entailed that any guilt, condemnation and punishment they should incur for their wrongdoings, that it would be laid to the charge of Christ, hence in the Purpose of God, Christ has already been slain for their condemnation they incured Rev 13:8

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain[for condemnation and guilt of sins of elect] from the foundation of the world.

He was in the Purpose of God slain for the condemnation of all those whose names had been written in the book of Life !

The Lord laid upon Him all their iniquties and condemnation Isa 53:4-6

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

With this laying on Him their iniquity was their condemnation and guilt and their condemnatory sentence of death, the penalty of their sins !

Did condemnation come upon the Elect ? 2

Did condemnation come upon the Elect ? 2

Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Listen, all the condemnation of Judgment that came upon the Elect of God in Adam, by previous Suretyship engagement Heb 7:22, that Judgment unto condemnation fell upon, not them, but Christ, so we read 2 Cor 5:21

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no [personal] sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

For when God made Christ sin for them, it came with it the responsibilty to bear the condemnation and penal consequences of the same, and so by that Christ condemned sin in the flesh Rom 8:3

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

By being condemned for them in the flesh of His Body 1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Pet 3:18

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 Pet 4:1

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

All this says to the ones Christ died for, God condemned their sins and apostacy and unbelief in His Son for them. All the condemnation that all their sins deserved and merited, it has all been Satisfied by Him for them; So that even while they are enemies [pre conversion] they are reconciled to God by His Death[for them] Rom 5:10 which can be only True if their is no condemnation against them ! So it is impossible for any of the unbelievers in Jn 3:18

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Its impossible for any one of them to be one for whom Christ died !

Having made peace through the blood of his cross !

Having made peace through the blood of his cross !

Col 1:20

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

The word for Peace also means to have established harmony ! Now understand this, Even as unbelievers, and enemies in our minds towards God and the things of God, if Christ died for us, we have peace and harmony with God,also see Eph 2:15-17

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

That word reconcile in Eph 2:16 the greek word apokatallassō means:

I.
to reconcile completely

II.
to reconcile back again

III.
bring back a former state of harmony

This is the state before God, for each one that Christ died for, even when they are in themselves enemies and notorious unbelievers Rom 5:10 !

In fact, if it were not so, Peace could not have been truthfully preached to them as it clearly states in Vs 17 Eph 2:16-17

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

To preach peace to anyone meant they can be assured that they are in a state of peace with God, that they have obtained Salvation through Jesus Christ, the blood of His Cross !

Peace cannot be preached to someone who does not really have peace with God, but lie under His wrath and condemnation Jn 3:18,36 , evidently Peace and harmony has not been established between God and them through Christ's Cross / Blood !

But unto all for whom it is an establish fact for, that they are in a state of peace and harmony with God through Christ, they are given Faith to believe it when it is preached, believing it not as in a condition they must meet to make the fact true, but believing it because it is already an established fact. It was an fact established even when they were enemies and unbelievers Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

See that, they were reconciled into a state of Peace and Harmony and acceptance and favor with God, while being enemies ! For being yet enemies and In unbelief did not make it not so ! For the condition of being in a state of peace and reconciliation was established solely by the Death / Blood of Christ shed for them.

Now with that mind, it would be absolutely impossible for anyone for whom Christ died, to be already condemned and under God's wrath even while an unbeliever as per Jn 3:18,36, for such would overthrow , defeat and eradicate , even overcome and prevail against the effects of the blood of Christ before God's Law and Justice, and such a thought as this is the epitome of Blaspheme and antichrist behavior and activity !

Having made peace through the blood of his cross ! 2

One of reasons and the differences as to why some are as unbelievers and enemies reconciled to God, received into His Divine Favor, while others as unbelievers and enemies, are already condemned and under God's Wrath, meaning His wrath abideth on them as Per Jn 3:36

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. its because for the former, Christ death has been applied to their credit and their sins have been taken away, God's Law and Justice has been satisfied for them, they have Peace and reconciliation with God through Christ, but for the latter ones, who are yet condemned already Jn 3:18 and God's wrath abideth on them, Christ did not die for them, and therefore their sins remaineth charged against them and consequently they remained condemned , Peace through the Cross of Christ was not established for them !

He also came to confirm some in blindness !

He also came to confirm some in blindness !

Jn 9:39

39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Though it is overlooked, Jesus states a Twofold purpose for coming into the world, one to save some, His People and one to confirm in their condemnation and blindness !

Jesus is carrying out a decree, a Divine sentence, a Judgment ! It was prophesied that He would Isa 42:4

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

He was set for the rise and fall of many in national Israel Lk 2:34

And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; Rom 11:11

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

There was decree of Judgment Christ came to establish for the non elect world as well as the elect world He came to make see and save Jn 3:17 but to the condemned world He causes them to be not able nor willing to believe the Gospel 1 Pet 2:8

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble [fall] at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

They were not appointed to Salvation but unto wrath 1 Thess 5:9 !

2 Thess 2:11-12

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Jn 12:39-40

39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Carrying out the Judgment stated here Jn 9:39

39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

So they could not believe and be saved, it was against God's Eternal Decree !

Received the Atonement or Reconciliation !

Received the Atonement or Reconciliation !

Rom 5:11

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

The word atonement here is the greek word καταλλαγή and means:

reconciliation, restoration to favor.

Also in the greek its The Reconciliation with the definite article :

οὐ μόνον δέ ἀλλὰ καὶ καυχώμενοι ἐν τῷ θεῷ διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ δι’ οὗ νῦν τὴν καταλλαγὴν ἐλάβομεν

They received " The restoration to Favor" The reconciliation was and is a established fact for them, even before they believe Rom 5:10 !

What this means is that believers, that were reconciled to God by the Death of His Son, while they were enemies / unbelievers, they have now received a Knowledge it by Faith, so the receiving it here is the same as receiving a Knowledge it , the Gospel reveals it to them Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The word reveal means :

to make known, make manifest, disclose, what before was unknown;

What was unknown ? The fact that by the Death of Christ for them, by that they had a " restoration to favor" with God, they stood before God in that reconciled state, that's what the Gospel reveals to them, its being given a knowledge of their Salvation Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Being restored to a state of Favor with God is Salvation !

The Word received and its misuse by false teachers !

The Word received and its misuse by false teachers !

Rom 1:5

5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

The antichrist crowd have terribly misused and abused this word received, much like they have done with the word world and their scriptural usages. The false teachers attempt to twist it so that it can only mean receive as in the case of someone being offered something to take or reject ! Now even though the word can be used in such a context, its deceitful to pretend that is its only meaning, especially as it is used in Holy Writ. The word is also used many times in the bible in the sense of having something given to you, a effectual communication of a thing that results in having possession of it, in some manner. Now an example of that is here in the text of Rom 1:5, with Paul and even the other Apostles having received the Apostleship and Grace. They received it Sovereignly by the Risen Christ Eph 4:10-12

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

You see that ? They received the Apostleship because He gave it to them Sovereignly !

Now the word receive in Rom 1:5 is the greek word lambanō :

I.
to take
A.
to take with the hand, lay hold of, any person or thing in order to use it
i.
to take up a thing to be carried

ii.
to take upon one's self

B.
to take in order to carry away
i.
without the notion of violence, i,e to remove, take away

C.
to take what is one's own, to take to one's self, to make one's own
i.
to claim, procure, for one's self
a.
to associate with one's self as companion, attendant

ii.
of that which when taken is not let go, to seize, to lay hold of, apprehend

iii.
to take by craft (our catch, used of hunters, fisherman, etc.), to circumvent one by fraud

iv.
to take to one's self, lay hold upon, take possession of, i.e. to appropriate to one's self

v.
catch at, reach after, strive to obtain

vi.
to take a thing due, to collect, gather (tribute)

D.
to take
i.
to admit, receive

ii.
to receive what is offered

iii.
not to refuse or reject

iv.
to receive a person, give him access to one's self,
a.
to regard any one's power, rank, external circumstances, and on that account to do some injustice or neglect something

E.
to take, to choose, select

F.
to take beginning, to prove anything, to make a trial of, to experience

II.
to receive (what is given), to gain, get, obtain, to get back

One of its usages is to describe how affections may seize upon one's mind Lk 5:26

26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

They received amazement, but it was not offered to them to accept or reject !

Lk 7:16

And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

The fear came upon them and so they received it. They received fear in their minds , but it was not offered to them to either accept the fear or reject it, I hope this is being made clear !

The point is this, we may and do receive something actively, but yet be passive, as the case with Paul in receiving the Grace and Apostleship, He received it because God Sovereignly put him in the Ministry 1 Tim 1:12

12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

It was not, hey Paul, I have a great opportunity for you if you decide to accept it !

Eph 3:7

7 Whereof I was made a minister or Apostle, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

You see that, he was made a minister or in this case an Apostle ! The word made is a word that denotes bringing something into existence, the word ginomai !

And so He received it that away both Grace and Apostleship. It was not an offer made him that he could either accept or reject according to his freewill ! And so it is in Rom 5:17

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Some receive the abundance of Grace Sovereignly as it is effectually communicated to them as is the Gift of Righteousness, which speaks to Imputation, they received it passively by God actively putting it or imputing it to their account !

So don't be fooled by the antichrist's usage/misuse of the word receive, in a way were they make men believe it was their action, or their freewill that made the receiving a reality, that is not the case !

His Kingdom is Now !

His Kingdom is Now !

Ps 45:6-7

6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Of course the writer of Hebrews by inspiration apply's this scripture to the Son of God God's own Son, the Lord Jesus Christ Heb 1:2-8

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Christ right now is a King, and right now He has a kingdom, but Christ's Kingdom is Spiritual !

Paul writes to the Colossians 1 :13

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

What can be more plainer than this scripture, which indicates that God's Son has a now Kingdom that some have been translated INTO !

His Kingdom , though in this world, yet is not of this world, but it is in His Believers, Jesus indicated as much here Jn 18:36

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Note: When Jesus then spoke those words, He was then in possession of His Kingdom , therefore He saith MY KINGDOM ! Lk 17:20-21

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

It is a Kingdom of Grace that reigns within the Kingdom citizens Rom 5:21

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

King Jesus Christ reigns in His Believers, He reigns in their Minds and Hearts Spiritually by His word and Spirit !

The word reign βασιλεύω means:

I rule, reign, (b) I reign over.to reign as king, i.e. exercise dominion (rule).

to exercise the highest influence, to control

Christ's word and Spirit by Grace exercises the prevailing influence over the believers mind and heart to submit to His Commandments and do them !

This is a Truth that very few will be able to receive ! That Christ is Now presently a King of His Spiritual Kingdom, Col 1:13

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

All men by nature are under the Law !

All men by nature are under the Law !

Gal 3:10

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

All men by nature are under the Law; because of the way we think, and its the symptom of the curse. The curse involves us that by nature we will always seek Justification or acceptance with God based upon our works, or a condition, yes even if the condition is something as simple or minute as counting to one; we by nature cannot help but think someway or somehow that Justification, Salvation, or Reconciliation to God or any other Salvaic expression is conditioned upon the sinner, in fact that was cains problem and God was pleased to leave him to himself and that way of thinking Gen 4:7

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

And thats how we as men by nature think, if WE DO WELL, we shall be accepted ! And this thinking I believe to be the true meaning of 666, for its the number of man Rev 13:18

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Remember Eve said of cain Gen 4:1

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

And all men by nature go the way of cain Jude 1:11

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Going the way of cain is seeking Justification before God by doing well, by bringing to God our best crops of effort, the fruit of our own doings !

Now the good thing for some is this, because Christ's death hath redeemed them from the curse of the Law, He being made a curse for them, all of them shall be delivered from that way of thinking, from dead works of false religion Heb 9:14

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

When we seek Justification / Salvation by our doing well, by meeting a condition, its dead works ! The Blood of Christ, if it was shed for us, delivers us from that way of thinking, from dead works, from seeking Justification before God conditioned upon the sinner ! Thats evidence of having been redeemed from the curse of the Law, BUT if any continueth in that way of thinking, then its obvious that Christ's death was not for them, and for them " Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."

When Adam sinned what happened ?

When Adam sinned what happened ?

When Adam sinned, God did confirm man in him to have by nature , a nature that is enslaved to the devil and sin, so it is written of even the Elect of God Eph 2:2-3

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

By nature the only option we have of walking, even from the womb, is according to the course of this world, and according to the prince of the power of the air, which is the devil, satan, that serpent. By nature we willingly submit to the god of this world, doing his lusts just as Jesus said the children of the devil will do Jn 8:44

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.

The same thing as Eph 2:3

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind

Though the Elect of God are never the children of the devil , yet they enter into this world by nature as they do, enslaved to the devil.

So all men being born naturally out of Adam, the cains and the Abels, it is to a nature fitted to walk according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air [the god of this world 2 Cor 4:4] under the control of that spirit which now is at work in all the children of disobedience [who are the children of the devil permanently]. By this they are and the elect are [until delivered by Christ] enslaved and servants to the lusts of the flesh, only fufilling the lusts of the flesh and the mind, though these lusts may be noble before men, in particular our religious lusts of the natural mind, and so all men naturally, no exceptions are servants of sin Jn 8:34

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Remember Paul here Phil 3:6

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Yes , he at that time with all his religious zeal and self righteousness and blamelessness, he was nothing but a servant of sin !

Understand something, all we have to do to become a servant of sin is to be born naturally into this world, and we remain servants of sin, unless and until we are born again spiritually from above. Part of being a servant of sin is unbelief, we cannot become a believer unless delivered from the servitude of sin, Thats why Paul wrote to the Romans as to why God concerning them must be Thanked Rom 6:17

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin [or unbelievers], but ye have obeyed from the heart[believed] that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

They were able to believe the Gospel from the Heart because of God first giving them New Birth by which they were delivered from the servitude of sin, which they are enslaved to by nature ! If any man claims that he believed the doctrine of Christ and His Gospel before a New Birth happened, they are liars as well as exalting themselves as to be the reason why they are no longer servants of sin, they give the credit to their so called freewill ! They delivered themselves from being a servant of sin so they could obey that form of doctrine ! Dont Thank God, but Thank Your freewill !

Exactly!

A Gospel Mystery Revealed !

A Gospel Mystery Revealed !

All for whom Christ died, He hath for them, performed all acts of obedience to secure their Salvation and to have it bestowed upon them. He is the Covenant to them Isa 42:6

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Christ's obedience was an Covenant obedience Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Adams Transgression was a Covenant disobedience Hosea 6:7

But they like men or Adam have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

All men in Adam disobeyed God "19 For as by one man's disobedience[transgression of the Covenant Hos 6:7] many were made sinners"

Now, Christ as a Covenant Head, for them God gave Him, He obeyed the Covenant, and so all Covenant Obedience has been fufilled for those He represented, He hath believed for them, and He has repented for them.

Now some may question, just how did Christ repent for them ? The answer is by this Matt 3:11-15

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

In His submitting to the baptism unto repentance, it was His way of Identifying with the sins of those He came to die for. Remember what were the people doing who partook of Johns Baptism ? Matt 3:5-6

5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

Christ as an Faithful High Priest for them, did confess their sins. Remember on the Day of Atonement, what did the High Priest do ? Lev 16:21

And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

All whom Christ obeyed for and in behalf of there in Matt 3:15

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

They have Repentance toward God credited to them by that, so all Gospel Obedience for them has been fufilled on their behalf, because He was their Covenant Head as was Adam ! What did God Promise to Israel if they obeyed His Covenant ? Ex 19:5-6

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

That comes to Past through the Covenant obedience and blood of Christ Rev 5:9-10

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Amen!

Through Christ's obedience and blood alone,
are all His Chosen Seed Eph. 1:4-5; Ps. 22:30 KJV; Is. 45:17
made righteous; even to His repentance for them!

They were made kings and priests, but not by any action or effect
of their own freewill at all. But everything that was required for
their Salvation was accomplished in Christ Jesus, their Covenant Head!

Eternal Life is Free Gift earned by Christ !

Eternal Life is Free Gift earned by Christ !

Eternal Life is Free Gift earned by Christ for all men that He died for ! He himself fulfilled all the conditions necessary for them to have been given it freely as a Gift, not offered to them, but given to them, legally and experimentally,

All those Christ died for, by His Death/ Blood ALONE apart from any other factor, it gave them as a Free Gift Eternal Life Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

The Life here in the phrase " Justification of Life " its Eternal Life. Its the same Eternal Life spoken of in Vs 21 Rom 5:21

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Its an Free Gift of Eternal Life through Jesus Christ Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Gift of Eternal Life is freely given to all for whom Christ died first and foremost by an act of Imputation , reckoned theirs in the Mind of God, it has been freely charged to their account by God, thats the import of the meaning of the words " came upon " in Rom 5:18

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

It was charged unto them, soley by the Righteousness of One , that being Jesus Christ, in the same manner as condemnation came upon them, was charged to them, solely by the offence of one, that being Adam ! In neither case was the ones being condemned or Justified required to do anything, the sentences were passed upon them automatically by the sole actions of One !

So the next time someone says that Eternal Life is a Free Gift, but you have to accept it before its yours, they are lying, thats a false antichrist witness, if Christ died for one, Eternal Life is automatically theirs as a Free Gift, charged to their persons, through their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, its theirs even as they come out of the womb dirty filty, God hating , ungodly sinners !

That lie is ubiquitous: proclaimed in the churches, and by
religious preachers and teachers on the airwaves and the internet.

2 Cor. 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
