LAURA INGRAHAM : Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people, and they are changes that none of us ever voted for, and most of us don't like.
Us? Whomever can she mean? It's a tough one.

From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically, in some ways, the country has changed.
So that change is visible, is it?

Now, much of this is related to both illegal, and in some cases legal immigration that, of course, progressives love.
Okay, not that tough then. I do appreciate the honesty in that, however. It's not just illegal immigration, it's also some of the legal sort. Given her demographic quote I'll leave you to guess what part of that demographic is something she doesn't find offensive (hint: it rhymes with right).

Man...Please God, let her not be Southern. (checks) Okay, we dodged that one.

Interesting former pursuits by Ingraham: as a Dartmouth student she talked a fellow student into sitting in on a gay student meeting, had it recorded then outed the students, including sending copies of the tape to their parents.

She changed her anti-gay tune when her own brother came out. So she's a bit like the person who condemns drinking as an activity of slovenly drunks until her dad gets photographed with a beer.

She was also a member of the Independent Women's Forum. It was formed ostensibly to go after Anita Hill, though it also tried to get the Violence Against Women's Act defunded. So apparently they're a group largely independent of compassion or character.

On day hundreds of new votes found in Kansas, Colyer calls on Kobach to recuse self

The gap between Gov. Jeff Colyer and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach narrowed to roughly 100 votes Thursday as the rival Republicans began to show signs that the election may ultimately be decided in a courthouse.

Colyer released a letter at 5 p.m. calling on Kobach to recuse himself from providing advice to local election officials. The letter comes after multiple counties reported that the election night totals on the secretary of state’s website were inaccurate, further clouding the results of a historically close election.

“It has come to my attention that your office is giving advice to county election officials — as recently as a conference call yesterday — and you are making public statements on national television which are inconsistent with Kansas law and may serve to suppress the vote in the ongoing primary election process,” Colyer said in a letter.

Colyer’s campaign spokesman, Kendall Marr, explained in a phone call that the campaign has heard that Kobach’s office told county clerks to disregard ballots with a smudged postmark. Marr said that ballots received before a Friday deadline need to be counted.

The call for recusal was Colyer’s biggest shot at Kobach since Tuesday’s primary ended without a clear result. Neither Kobach’s campaign nor his office immediately responded to Colyer’s letter, but Kobach said Wednesday that he had no plans to recuse himself if a recount happens after the provisional ballots are counted. He said his office plays only an administrative role in that process and does not actually count ballots.

Around the same time news broke that Colyer received 100 more votes in a western Kansas county than previously reported, the governor’s campaign announced the establishment of a voter integrity hotline. Hours later, additional counties reported that votes had been incorrectly reported on Tuesday.

“We’ve received countless reports that voters experienced issues when they voted on Tuesday. Many Colyer voters had difficulties finding his name on the ballot, were forced to vote on provisional ballots, or were turned away outright for unknown reasons,” Marr said in a news release.

Canada has the benefit of not having a certain demographic we're saddled with - one that has a propensity for violence and mayhem, which tend to drastically reduce life expectancy

Channeling Laura Ingraham Isee. Well that is to be expected.

So it is ethnicity rather than any other demographic issue, thanks Laura

who's killing whom in chicago?

answer: blacks are killing blacks in chicago

that's a statement of truth that involves race

i don't believe there's any way to convince you (or the bananahead) that that doesn't automatically make it racist

Ah, and that is what you think brings down life expectancy in the US v Canada? Other than your fertile imagination, any real evidence of that?

i've done this before and don't have time tonight to search it out

search homicides by age and race for each country

remove homicides under the average life expectancy and re-work the numbers

we come out ahead of the canucks

see: chicago
Canada maintains a low homicide rate despite being "saddled" 5250 miles of common border with a whole nation that has "a propensity for violence and mayhem, which tend to drastically reduce life expectancy."

Windsor Ontario recently went 27 months without a homicide despite being located less than a mile from Detroit, Michigan - long considered one of the most violet cities in America!

Given that Chicago is located in Illinois, how does "ok doser" reconcile his assertion with the fact that this state ranks 25th out of 50 in terms of life expectancy?

Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, West Virginia, Mississippi - if states "having a certain demographic we're saddled with - one that has a propensity for violence and mayhem, which tend to drastically reduce life expectancy," why are the states with the lowest life expectancy all Republican and rural?

chicago: 32.9% Black

illinois (excluding chicago): 13% black

it appears that blacks are only problematic if they are allowed to clump up like a clog in a toilet drain

we should do something to prevent them from doing that :)

West Virginia is 93% "white," 3% "black" and yet ranks 49th in America for life expectancy (75.4 years) - so much for "ok doser'" assertion that black inner city crime is the determining factor to explain why the US currently ranks a lowly 45th in the world for life expectancy!

Next to Vermont (94%), West Virginia at 93% has the highest "white" population in the country and is primary rural without any large "black" inner cities!

It should also be noted that West Virginia has a lower % of "whites" (3%) than the Canadian city of Windsor (4.9%) - that is located less than a mile from Detroit and went 27 months without a homicide!
