he was using misleading numbers
and
I had to fire him
and
now I am forced to do my own numbers which doesn't look good

as a former professional statistician (educated, trained and paid to do the job), i'm always amused by the attempts of the untrained to manipulate numbers and claim they mean one thing or another

It displeases me. One might say "We are not amused" by it.
