Calvinism Verses the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ

Calvinist do not believe the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ. If they did they would not be Calvinist.

CALVINISM: The belief that before the foundation of the world God chose "Some Certain Persons" to be saved and damned the rest to hell. (Canons of Dort. First Head: Article #10).

To believe Calvinism you must believe that God is an unjust, unmerciful tyrant that delights in sending people to hell. There are serious problems with believing that about God. Salvation always has been and always will be by faith in God and his promises. It is not possible to have saving faith in a God that would condemn billions to hell for no reason other than they were born after Adam. It is not man's fault that he is a sinner, therefore to condemn fallen man to eternal damnation is not fair or just.

WHAT IS THE HISTORICAL GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST?

In the Historical Gospel, "God so loves the world (all of humanity) that he gives his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER (meaning everyone) believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16. This is a radical difference from what Calvinist believe.

Jesus clothes himself in human flesh and becomes one with us, but not one of us. He who was the prince of heaven comes to this dark planet to provide salvation for fallen man. By his righteous sinless life, he offers to God the Father a life of perfect obedience according to his holy law. He does this in our name and on our behalf. It is because of the righteous, sinless life of Christ that we are justified, Romans 3:26. If Jesus had not filled every jot and tittle of the law, Matthew 5:18, no one could be saved.

That was not enough, something had to be done about man's sins. Jesus, in our name and on our behalf becomes sin for us. "For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21. This calls for a response. If you hear this and do not respond, your non-response will be considered to be a response. When God saw the sins of humanity on Jesus, the wrath of God fell on him. Christ died in our place and on our behalf. There is no condemnation to those who are "In Christ". The reason for this is because Jesus has taken our punishment for us. We are the sinners and deserve death, but he who knew no sin becomes sin for us.

In the resurrection of Jesus God brings forth a new humanity. The old Adamic humanity (us) was put to death in Christ, Romans 6:6. We are now new creations in Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17. God sees all that believe in his Son Jesus Christ as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10. You cannot make yourself any better than what God has made us in Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ we have been justified, sanctified and redeemed, 1 Corinthians 1:30. "For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God" Colossians 3:3 If you are going to glory in something, glory in Jesus Christ.

Believing is work a person DOES.

Before New Birth, it's nothing but a work of the flesh.

But the Believing / Faith an elect does after being Born Again, is a Fruit of the Spirit which pleases God Rom 8:7-9.
