If you want to worry about a dictator emerging from Latin America, look at Guatemala. The right-wing candidate is quite literally running on the promise of an "iron fist." He was also part of the military leadership that killed innocent left-wing protesters during the Civil War, and now the center-left party in control is dealing with their own, slow executions.

But since he's pro-capitalist and pro-America I'm sure we won't hear anything.
