Let me try....

I think their music is timeless (it still sounds just as good today as it did in the 70's and 80's).

ELO was creative. They used instruments that most bands didn't i.e., electric violins and cellos etc.

Jeff Lynne was an incredibly talented song writer.

I think white dudes with afros are cool.
