How the Gospel Interprets the Bible

You are deceiving yourself by professing that you are righteous, 1 John 1:8.

GT aside, why would a believer not profess that they are righteous considering what Paul writes?

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

The gospel is about Jesus' blood washing your sins away. Get over it, because you have to ask for forgiveness of those sins you want washed away. If you don't then you didn't hear the gospel and you didn't come to him through his body.

The Gospel is far more than Jesus washing your sins away.

No one will enter heaven that has not been justified by the life and death of Christ. You are trying to do in your flesh what God has ALREADY done for you in Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ you have ALREADY been justified, sanctified and redeemed, 1 Corinthians 1:30. Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus you are ALREADY complete in him, Colossians 2:10. You need to enter into his rest, Hebrews 4:10.

We are only righteous "In Christ" outside of Christ, we are the chief of sinners.

Jesus justifies us by washing us of our sins.

No one will be saved that has not been justified by the doing and the dying of Jesus.

Jesus fulfilled the law for you, then he abolished it, Ephesians 2:15.

That is what saved you.

You teach that people Christ lived and died for are still lost and condemned !

Jesus does that for those he chooses to do that for.

Jesus tells us whom he chooses and why.

Jesus says he chooses to do that for those who obey him.

You can't get around it, no matter how much you try.

You have replaced the word "believe" with the word obedience.

Paul says that your righteousness falls short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23.

You are going to be in for a dreadful shock in the judgment when you find out that your obedience was worthless. God only accepts the obedience of Jesus Christ, we are accepted only in him.

We have to have living faith. We have to believe that we have to obey.

Paul says that your righteousness falls short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23.

You have to obey Jesus to receive salvation. Jesus saves whomever he wants to, and he says he chooses those who obey him.

Start by repenting of your sins, it is the first thing Jesus started preaching when he began his earthly ministry.

You are going to be in for a dreadful shock in the judgment when you find out that your obedience was worthless. God only accepts the obedience of Jesus Christ, we are accepted only in him.

hahahahaha My obedience will follow me. Where do you get that God only accepts the obedience of Jesus Christ? That is nowhere in the Holy Bible. We must go through Jesus, and it happens when we come to him in living faith.

It is beyond absurd to say obeying Jesus will put someone in Hell.

Living by the law and commandments is an indicator that you don't have faith in the saving work of Christ. You are trying to save yourself by your obedience to the law.

Jesus' words are the law of the Spirit.

If you don't have the Holy Spirit, then you are not saved.

Try this.

"Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law (because you did something) or by the hearing of faith (hearing and believing the Gospel) Galatians 3:2.

We don't receive the Spirit by the old works of the law which are the purification works.

We receive the Spirit by obeying Jesus' words which are Spirit.

You can't get the Spirit in you unless you do what the Spirit says.

Read the scripture again. The works of the law is anything that you do, such as obedience. John said, "If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" 1 John 1:8.

Are you calling John a liar?

That scripture is about how IF you do NOT admit you are a sinner, and repent of those sins...because one must admit to being a sinner if one is gong to repent...then you are not saved, the truth is not in you means you are not saved.

Nice job of screwing with the scripture. The scripture does not say that at all.

It is what the scripture says.

Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

All are sinners and have to admit to it to be saved. If you say you don't have sin, they you are not admitting to be a sinner and then how can you get saved?

1 John 1:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
