Hmm. It's as though Darwinists often find themselves embarassed by the lack of scientific support for their religion and by the horrible implications such as racism and eugenics.

You know full well it's creationism that's an intellectual embarrassment, and both racism and eugenics are quite terrible and don't have much if anything to do with evolutionary theory.

Whether you like it or not, it's plainly and painfully obvious that racism and eugenics fit very nicely within the worldview of Darwinism. Just as morality does not.

Mind must come from mind, or Something Higher. You have nothing to offer in refutation. This is the juggernaut problem which the Darwinist cannot answer. Therefore, the Creationist always remains in a position of great strength, and the Darwinist always has egg on his face.

Jeremiah 48:30 -- "I know his fury," declares the LORD, "But it is futile; His idle boasts have accomplished nothing."
Nothing.

What IS the "worldview of darwinism"? Does it have anything in common with the "worldview of Einstein's theory of relativity"? And why call it darwinism when clearly you mean evolution which has moved far beyond Darwins initial concepts.

Here we go again..... John, just because you say something doesn't make it true. You have nothing to offer in support of this absolute statement.
This is the juggernaut problem which the Darwinist cannot answer.
Just because you don't like the answer evolution gives does not mean it does not provide one.
Therefore, the Creationist always remains in a position of great strength, and the Darwinist always has egg on his face.
Disproving evolution does not prove creationism, and you haven't even done the former yet.

You can replace "Darwinism" with "ignorance" or "willful prejudice" or any other number of things. Replace it with religion or fanaticism or zealotry of any kind. Racism and eugenics existed long before Darwin showed up and will persist, unfortunately, until we grow up as a species.

Mind must come from mind, or Something Higher.

Agreed.

… the worldview of Darwinism. Just as morality does not.
Can you explain how someone who is studying a particular sequence of fossils should incorporate morality into their study?
Mind must come from mind, or Something Higher.
By mind, what specifically do you mean? The ability to use logic, or to feel emotion, or what?

Dumb question.

They should stop studying rocks and do what is more critically important first, because right living is infinitely more important than studying rocks.

Can't a person be a geologist or a farmer or a teacher or an anthropologist or a biologist or a ... or a truck driver or a cook, and still "live right"?

Anti-intellectualism might make you feel better but it makes you look and sound awfully ignorant.

:chuckle: Let's try that again:

They should stop reading and first turn on the lights, then they could see.

Can't a person read without light?
No. :)

Says the person typing on his computer powered by methods invented and perfected by those who read.
Sure. :)

Anti-intellectualism might make you feel better but it makes you look and sound awfully ignorant.
:squint: What?!

If you disagreed with JL's opinion you should have simply said right living is less important than studying rocks. :idunno:

No.

All of which was given by God. Why do you so easily forget Him?

Romans 1:21 -- For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

1 Corinthians 4:7 -- What do you have that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Sooo, no one is to pursue a secular profession that will allow them to earn a living and support a family? Everyone is to do nothing but pray and read scriptures, and all will be taken care of by divine fiat. Gotcha.

There went the last vestiges of your rationality.

This is called weaseling, Davis. :juggle:

Oh, what pathetic excuses you give for denying the existence of God.

The guy asked a simple question, and now you're playing games. Why in the world can't someone be a farmer or clerk or geologist and live what you'd consider to be a "good" or moral life? Better yet, what exactly do you do for a living?
