  • Aye. So much arguing and "call out" threads. Oh well.

Yes, I am an American. I thank you :)

And no problem with the youtube question :)
10,000 reasons. They used to play that at my ex-wife's church, and a few others, that I have always liked. It is a very good, uplifting song. And you are correct, there is much drama and anger here. I'm "brand new" here, but I already see very old grudges that refuse to die.

I hope you are well, today. :)
Do you teach your children to identify the wicked and mock them, too?

Why not identify the lost and try to win them to Christ?
After all, that is what He told us to do

Little ones are not to talk to adults in any way other than a polite way. What planet did you grow up on?

You are a fool. I am not going to stop against he wicked. The lost is one thing, the wicked is something else. And your defense of them shows me your heart.
Oh brother. Do you guys ALWAYS have to be so adversarial?
I said name calling is juvenile...and it is.

It isn't, and the Lord Jesus Christ did it. I identify the wicked and mock them. And welcome to the range. :)
You think the Lord Jesus Christ and his servants are juvenile? Ok. I knew you were outside the faith. Calvinism is a false gospel. Back to your promotion of evil that the wicked should not be identified (name calling)

33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

    Fools and blind!

26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. ( he is calling a promiscuous man a name)

I can go on and on, and I think you know this.
Name calling and rebuking the wicked is encouraged on TOL. Just thought I would explain your not understanding name calling infraction for that moron.
Awesome,....you are on the right 'frequency',...don't worry...I wont get too "new age" on you....just yet lol. Some regard me as the resident 'new ager', 'universalist', 'gnostic', 'theosophist',....being one of the more 'eclectic' veterans here. (for those contesting that, I'm using 'veteran' for 10 years or older ;) ). Beyond all that,...my roots are certainly in the Judeo-Christian tradition, me being more of a 'mystic' student of the universal esoteric laws and principles of Spirit,...since 'God' is the one universal reality thru-out. Having a very diverse background of studies and knowledge, my dissertations reflect a multi-dimensioned view, hopefully consistent enough to help other enjoy expanding their consciousness, without getting too 'out there'. Glad to meet u.
Hi there,...always enamoured when a more traditional religionist digs my commentary :) - glad you seemed to enjoy my explanations, as I used to have my own thread on 'Non-Duality', but many of my older threads got deleted, in the last server upgrade (older threads were 'purged' to make room). Anyways,...its funny that you're a 'reformed Baptist'....as I made a comment to Nang that any 'reformation' is subject to another 'reformation' according to the law of 'progressive revelation' :) - looks like philosophically we can "getcha" anywhere (giggles). U can check out my profile, blog here, bio, signature links, etc. to learn more of my journey and writing-ventures. Will keep my eye open for you too......:surf:
I've been meaning to stop by and welcome you to the board but haven't gotten around to it until now. I enjoy reading your posts. Hope you are liking the place.
Welcome to TOL. I hope that you enjoy it here. There are many good Christians here.
