I'm feeling like a jerk lately, not the best of times for me personally in some ways, and aCW is really ticking me off so mocking him (and his fellow cops) is a good way to vent

Okay, I'm all done in. I had to stay up for one of my horses. She's been in a lot of pain...bad hoof problems. We got her fixed up with special shoes and I gave her some pain med. I just wanted to make sure she was comfortable and handling the new shoes okay. Say a prayer for her. Her name's Missy. If these shoes don't work, we'll have to put her down. I really don't want to have to do that. Anyway, you get some rest. I'll catch you on the flip side!

Yeah, ya gotta watch the suck factor here. I used to do a lot more farm chores on a daily basis. I've gotten a wee bit more sedentary and the goats are doing the weeding! The good news is that I get to share Yeshua and spend some time with good folks.....some not so good but they'll get over it.

Nah, my plates aren't that fancy and I only get pototoes once a week...diabetic. That fru fru green weed on top of the eggs holds no place in my house either.

What is it with you and fish for breakfast? Okay, okay, I'll give on the salmon. It does taste pretty good grilled and cozied up to a couple of farm fresh eggs.

I read some of the comments here and saw Nick's comments below where he is quoting Jesus' statements to the religious leaders of His day: brood of vipers and etc. THIS just cracks me up! He won't follow Christ's teachings, but he thinks he is justified in following ONLY that part of Christ's time here on earth! Boy, oh boy...

I saw your conversation with Nick and just wanted to weigh in really quickly.

I'm not positive that the website "encourages" name-calling, and that seems like a stretch. However, TOL only forbids name calling "without cause". I actually like this rule in theory, but the mods here are pretty biased about it. I've been called names and dealt with in a manner that is clearly not justified before and yet people get away with it.

I think name-calling can be OK sometimes, but you have to be careful with it. I'll make another VM post in a minute getting into some examples (I'll pass the character limit if I do it this post.)

Yes, it is a slow burn group. I generally try not to post immediately to other's posts for fear of folks holding back until they see what "AMR" has to say. I do not want to turn the place into a one-person show. We have plenty of lurkers and a global reach, but folks seem less confident to weigh in on a site with strict rules of the doctrines allowed to be discussed.
