I almost never follow baseball. The last Series I watched was when the Marlins won. I picked them because their catcher was named Pudge. Now he plays for Detroit so I gotta go with the Tigers.

FYI,

The 1987 Twins won the World series with a 85-77 regular season record. The 1973 Mets reached Game 7 of the World Series (lost to the A's) with an 82-79 record. The Cardinals were 83-79 this season.
