Maybe, but the polls have been pretty reliable so far this primary season.

-the republicans are 40% of the electorate
-trump is 30% of the republicans
-trump is 12% of he electorate
-most of the idiots will vote for the democrat

That could be reassuring, until you realize that his nearest rival is maybe half that amount, and that Republicans end up winning the presidency about half the time despite the seeming numerical disadvantage. And all of that can be said of the Democrats.

And actually, the Republicans are only about 30% of the electorate given the last numbers I saw on it. http://www.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx

-the fun is over
-he needs to spend more money
-he needs to hire more people
-a good business man knows he must cut his loses
-trump may have the money
-but
-there is a limit to what he is willing to spend

-looks like it will have to get worse before it can get better
-we may lose the senate as well as the white house
-and
-we will lose the supreme court
-but
-we should try to hold on to the state offices
-this time we should not try to block the democrats
-let them have their way
-we need to teach the voters a lesson

So, not Drumpf (#MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain). This is more about ego and brand than it is about business.

Anyway, I think it's probably too late to stop him now. Too many vanity projects, not a serious enough rival still in the running.

-he is a business man first
-and
-he knows how to cut his losses
-he knows how to work the crowd
-I see him asking the the republican party to finance his campaign
-and
-will bow out when they refuse
-but
-not before he picks the nominee for the party
