One of my favorite SY songs. But I have a lot of favorite Sonic Youth songs. I wish there were more live versions of it around. Kim Gordon's awesome in this version:

Always Forgetting With You (The Bridge Song) by Spiritualized
Always Forgetting With You (The Bridge Song) was recorded by Spiritualized (as "The Spiritualized Mississippi Space Program") for an upcoming compilation called The Space Project. Each song on the compilation incorporates NASA Voyager recordings made in outer-space.
"The audio tracks that form the raw material for Space Project were recorded by the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes that NASA launched in 1977 and still uses to study the outer solar system. The satellites carry numerous instruments fine-tuned to record in different portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The "sounds" recorded by the Voyager probes aren’t sounds in the conventional sense; rather, they are electromagnetic radiation fluctuations in the magnetosphere of the planets, moons and large asteroids the Voyager probes traveled near. Each celestial body is composed of different elements, has its own size and mass, and therefore sounds unique."
Always Forgetting With You (The Bridge Song) uses recordings made near Neptune.
I think this is one of the best Spiritualized songs ever. If I ever get to go to outer-space, I want to bring this song to listen to out there.

Summers version of the song features an all-star choir including among others Michael Jackson, Brenda Russell, James Ingram, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Loggins, Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder.
