Good reasons for voting for Trump:

1) He's a successful businessman and that would be a bonus for our country, financially speaking.
2) He has a Christian running mate who will be there to be an influence on Trump.
3) He will have what it takes to face other world leaders, such as, Putin of Russia.

Reasons to vote for Hillary:

1) She's dishonest and corrupt.
2) She will continue in the footsteps of Obama.
3) She'll do a lot of "Saber Rattling."
4) She'll always be under investigation for something or another.
5) She's for abortion.
6) She's basically against the second Amendment.
7) She doesn't play by the rules or Laws of the land.
8) Her Presidency will be mired in one controversy after another.
9) She's a "Warhawk."
10)She most likely will have us in a War not long after entering the White House.
12)She's sneaky and power hungry.
13)I believe she is EVIL.
14)Etc, etc, etc.

Yes.

The gospel asks us to believe that God came in the form of a man born from a virgin, died for our sin, was resurrected and sent His Spirit to live inside us. While He was on earth He told us that if someone wants to take our cloak we should give them our tunic, too, that we should bless those who revile us, and that we should do good in secret because God will reward us. His whole message revolved around throwing our lives away because we have faith and trust that we will be vindicated in the age to come.

It's absolute foolishness. If we are living like Him, there will be no shortage of people accusing us of lacking common sense.

You really need to learn how to "Rightly Divide" the word of God. Jesus earthly ministry was to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

Christians and non-Christians are capable of lacking common sense. God gave us the ability to choose. (Free will) Why not make your choice count for something?

All right, go ahead and disregard everything He said, your loss.

I'll stick solely to we "believe that God came in the form of a man born from a virgin, died for our sin, was resurrected and sent His Spirit to live inside us."

It's absolute foolishness. If we are living like we believe that, there will be no shortage of people accusing us of lacking common sense.

I'll try and refrain from triggering your MADness again.

Well that's what it started out as, sure- the Romans would have killed all of them in their first day of ministry. It however does not mean anything that MADism perpetuates, it is interpretation gone mad and nothing else.

Crucible, Trump DOES have a lot in common with Hitler .This is NOT "Godwin's Law ".
No, he's not as extreme as Hitler , but both are ruthless demagogues, rabble rousers ,
and pathological liars .
Hitler demonized the Jews . Trump demonizes Hispanics . Both created scapegoats .
Both called for mass deportations . Trump also demonizes Muslims, and just like Hitler, he has called for Muslims to wear signs showing their Muslim status, just as Hitler did this with the Jews of Germany .
Let's face it ; History is starting to repeat itself . There are so many other examples of Trump's vile bigotry , and you can google them yourself easily . Beware of what you ask for ! Trump is bad news not only for America but the entire world !

Trump does not demonize Hispanics . He points out the severe problems this country faces due to many illegal immigrants from Mexico. He is not casting dispersions on the rest of Hispanics. That is your racism speaking. You cannot fathom Hispanics can have thugs and criminals and decent people too.

Make a point or drop it.

I'm not interested in playing games with leading questions.

Then never mind.

I always find it interesting how just a couple of questions can make conservative Christians so angry.

And yet its Donald J. Trump that is the nominee. If you think that's what the Republican Party wanted, you're delutional.

And despite the fact that he does not reflect any sort of "Christian values", and actually epitomizes the very things conservative Christians claim to oppose (love of money, greed, gambling, lust, pornography, adultery), he got the nomination in large part due to support from conservative Christians, who are now among his strongest supporters.

That's exactly how you single to the GOP that all that rhetoric about morality, family values, character, and a Christian worldview is just that....rhetoric, and you will faithfully line up and vote for their candidate no matter who it is or how much he goes against what you claim to value.

If I could act in a manner that would create a good system I would. That option does not exist.

No, Jose! I didn't make the system and I have no power to change the system.

I can see that now. Thanks for your time.

What he himself may or may not be is not why conservative Christians support him. They support him because his presidency means an end to political correctness getting in the way of speaking on actual issues, and everyone else getting their way while conservative Christians get the shaft.

People have gone after the character of Trump because there is nothing else to go after- his plan and promise is phenomenal and he beat Hillary on every issue. It is clear that people don't want Trump to be president either because he threatens the facade of progessives, or that people simply have unwarranted butthurt.

That's about it- the Trump from six months ago is the same Trump now, regardless of the media or those miserable women :wave2:

So fighting against "political correctness" is more important to evangelical Christians than love of money, greed, gambling, lust, pornography, and adultery.

Don't be surprised if that comes back to you in the future.

As this thread shows, conservative Christians will ditch almost every one of their values in order to vote Republican. So when the GOP, at best, panders to your issues you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

I'm not angry, I just don't like having my time wasted. If you have a point to make then make it.

Once again you repeat an objection that has already been refuted. The fact that you have no answer is what you ought to be able to see.

Joe the Fly has nothing of interest to say. He's just another one of the "Jerks" that hang around TOL. You're way better than he.

Yikes man, you're not worthy to be on TOL. Why not go and HAUNT another forum that really enjoys JOKERS like you? You're starting to bore me and that's not a good thing for a guy like you to behold.

One of them can be stopped, the other cannot. The Christian Church existed for all that time and the love of money, greed, gambling, lust, pornography (hedonism; brothels), and adultery still existed. It is impossible to get rid of those things unless one follows the example of Saudi Arabia.

Political correctness, however, is destroying the ability to get to root issues which are putting society on a crutch. It has no business as a concept in a place which values freedom of expression.

You liberals have called everyone and their brother a 'bigot' or some other such thing by PC, and the way your media does it is by making ridiculous claims and half truths and then calling anyone who reveals it a sexist or racist, anon.

Trump is the push back to your pushing, and that is the REAL reason you all do not like him, plain and simple. Everything you or others have to say is meaningless to me to be perfectly honest, people have gotten tired of being harassed by yall.

I have no idea what "objection" you think I'm raising, nor how you think you've refuted it. I made an observation and you've confirmed it multiple times.
