I forgot about Skyfall on the song.

I sensed a sentimental shift against Tommy Lee Jones, but I didn't see the actual winner coming. And Spielberg's loss to Lee really floored me.

Once he lost I said to my wife, "Well, then it's Argo."

Overall? I'll take "Not bad." :chuckle:

On the host: I thought the opening ran long. The Kirk joke would have been funny as a one-off but Seth didn't know when to let go and pick up the pace. Too bad. Uneven and the stage was too big for his act, but we've seen worse.

It's a shame we can't find someone like Crystal to handle the job each year. I wonder who will take the reigns next year. :think:

I saw a headline the other day that said Lewis may be the best actor of his generation. I've only seen him in that movie where he eats the guys milkshake. He was good in that.

Yeah, he's pretty amazing.... and humble, too. It's almost like he doesn't see his own brilliance.
