I'd have a no-lawyer rulership because, let's be honest, nobody likes lawyers.

For government, you need a guy in control. And a guy in control who is in control for life. Through thick and thin. Countries run by a procession of people only in charge for a short time are simply wasting good experience.

I would establish a socialist government with a strong emphasis on a constitutionally alliterated balance between individual freedom and equality, and social responsibility.

My dream country would be a society with extremely minimal government and it would be a place where religion is illegal. A capitalist Utopia where the only rules are that you can't kill, rape or steal, everything else is game. A place where you must get an education and work or you will be ostracized and left to suffer and perish. A place where science is not hindered by so called claims of morality. Only the strong, intelligent and cunning would survive.

But, darn it! Sometimes, those of us who are either strong, intelligent or cunning find that we love someone who is none of the above and we will fight to the death to help them survive.

That sounds very early 20th century fascist, to me. Very Ayn Rand.

A cruel form of social darwinism that opens for the absolute destruction of the environment which of course would affect poor parts of the world, is your dream?

It seems to me that you are adapting some very abhorrent and dangerous philosophies, Quincy

I am fine with the form of government we currently have. Freedom of religion and freedom from religion and equality based on individuals actually *being* equal (work ethic, abilities, etc...).

 Quincy, who would do all the mindless labor required to keep everything working, even within the government.

Your utopia is biting your backside again. :D

There is a place for every one that can live within a society without harming others, its just difficult to find that place for some, maybe the strong, intelligent and cunning could lend a hand.

Oops, there goes minimal...its like the lemonade stand a kid runs on the corner, as the demand increases, the need for help also increases, but the boss doesn't do everything, he now has to hire in others to accomplish his goals under his supervision?

With expansion comes numbers, but you wouldn't want nor need the strong, intelligent and cunning to mop the floors in congress, would you? I don't think that mopping floors was one of the dreams of a college grad with aspirations of leading a country or a company.

I'm not even going to get into this, A place where science is not hindered by so called claims of morality.
Can you imagine what could happen if there was no morality in the areas of Medical research? You can keep a human alive for a long time while you experiment with the new surgical processes, what draws the line?

If it's MY country, then of course it would be a monarchy, with me being the Monarch! lol.

A monarchy run by an entirely benevolent Monark is the absolute best form of government. Entirely benevolent being the central point, and Christ being the One who alone fulfills that role entirely and perfectly.

Sorry, I forgot to address the thread question....

I kinda like the one we have, we just need to exercise the will of the people and clean it up and trim it down.

Time cards for Congress, a quarterly statement of accomplishments, etc.

Constitutional monarchy. The King doesn't do whatever he pleases, he is to obey the law. Judges answer to him, and there is no legislature. The days of money laundering through Congress would be over. And judges do not interpret the law, it says what it says. Judges decide whether somebody is innocent or guilty.
