The Jesus of the Gospels claimed to be the God Who gave the Law to Moses. The same Law which condemns homosexual activity, by the way.
Arguably, at best. And it was never Jesus who emphasized homosexual behavior or its supposed sinful nature--you guys do. What Jesus actually talked about, and told his followers to do, is completely at odds with Christianity in this country. Right-wing Christianity in the United States is a lot of things, but it isn't about the Jesus of the gospels.

Your statement is the reason that Christians seem to be focused on Homosexuality.
We have to combat the false statements like the one you made.
The truth is:
Homosexuality is no more a valid choice than incest, bestiality, and adultery.
Homosexual acts are just as much of a sin as incest, bestiality, and adultery.

Homosexual acts are frequently acts of love. That is following the commandment of Jesus.
No sexual acts are sinful, unless they are irresponsible to oneself, the partner, or children. Which they can be. In fact, heterosexual acts are so more frequently.
Performing a sexual act with a member of your own sex is an abomination in the eyes of God. That includes tongue kissing, genital fondling, the whole foreplay thing, bodily penetration with either your own equipment or manufactured equipment. I would also include non physical foreplay like flirting and love letters etc.

Jesus never commanded eros (love), but He did command agapao (love).

Its not curious at all not to define what something isnt when what it is is already defined. See Matthew chapter 19 for what marriage is and that those who cannot accept it for whatever reason, are to remain celibate.
Tell me why Christ needs to say, this doesnt mean homosexual union when he already defined marital union as male and female only?

The reason Jesus is not recorded as speaking against homosexuality during His Earthly ministry is two-fold:
- It was already condemned in the law of the Israelites.
- His ministry, at that time, was only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel; which is why He did not condemn the Romans for their sins [which included homosexuality, pederasty/pedophilia, etc.].
Do they meet all the requirements?
FYI, just being drunk isn't a requirement; they must be a drunkard.
