Yes, Jesus wept over Lazarus and Jerusalem. He wept over an individual and that includes you and me. He wept over a community and that includes all of us as families, neighborhoods and nations.
We are loved with a perfect love. For that I am grateful. I couldn't live without it.

That I was able to to rescue a tiny bird that got trapped between the window panes... I don't know how he even managed to get himself in there. He was probably grateful about getting out too.

Doesn't seem like he can fly though... I'll be grateful if I get to to see him fly off.

Sadly the bird died this afternoon. But maybe he was grateful to have finally gotten out from between those window panes and to have had a few hours on the back porch in the shade, with some nice seeds and some cool water to drink. RIP.
