This is what emboldened white supremacists look like

It was a scene out of the darkest days of the civil rights movement. A couple of dozen white supremacists rallied around a statue of Robert E Lee, a Confederate army general, in Virginia, carrying torches and chanting: “You will not replace us.”

But this was no black-and-white newsreel, relaying the horrors of a time long since past. This grotesque scene played out on Saturday, at a rally headlined by the white supremacist Richard Spencer.

They also chanted "blood and soil," (a Nazi chant) and "Russia is our friend."

Some observers dismissed them with mockery for their "citronella tiki torches," and while mockery can be useful, it won't fix the pervasive ugliness that is racism.

Run over them with the bulldozer on the way to knock the statue down.
Saves time and lubricates the tracks.
We could kill two birds with one dozer if we get the Antifa black mask idiots to stand in front of them.

If someone wants to buy the statues and put them in a museum I'm fine with that. If they want to put them around Gettysburg as part of the lesson, okay. . . and if they want to dump the lot of them into the Gulf of Mexico that'll work too.

My grandmother was DAR and descended from the Lee line and I had always thought that she was a Daughter of the Confederacy as well, but learned late that when that particular group came knocking she sent them on their way, politely. She was, as it turns out, almost as proud of our role in the nation's founding as she was embarrassed by what some of our relations tried to do with that legacy.

Good woman, my grandmother.

:chuckle: But then you'd never get the smell out.

WARNING RIOTS AND BAD LANGUAGE AND VIOLENCE AND POOR FASHION CHOICES

There's Antifa, they're most prevalent with the red and black flag.
Then there's Black Bloc and BAMN (By Any Means Necessary) I don't know if they have flags or not.
BAMN is like a cult.

Every time there's a Pro Trump gathering there's idiots with black hoodies and bandannas over their faces and sticks with flags on them and they hit people with the sticks.

Muslims murdered as many people in a few days as the KKK has in their entire history.

New York: During the brutal sweep conducted by the Islamic State through Iraq as many as 9,900 member of the Yazidi community “have been killed or kidnapped in ISIS genocide”, says a study.

However, the true number of the people killed in the genocide will never be known as many still remain in the captivity of ISIS.

According to The Independent, the journal published in PLOS Medicine states that 3,100 members of the ethnic minority who were executed in a matter of days in August 2014 were either shot, beheaded or burned alive, while the rest died due to starvation, dehydration or injuries during the extremist group’s siege on Mount Sinjar.

White nationalists in America have celebrated President-elect Donald Trump’s victory with a Nazi salute and a “heil victory” chant, according to reports.

At an event in Washington on Saturday, in a federal building a few blocks from the White House, Richard Spencer, president and director of the National Policy Institute, called the Republican’s win an “awakening”.

Having earlier urged those among the alt-right movement to start acting less like an underground organisation and more like the establishment, Spencer railed against Jews and, according to The New York Times, quoted Nazi propaganda in German - all with a smile on his face.

Spencer told the audience that America belonged to white people, whom he called the “children of the sun,” a race of conquerors and creators who had, until now, been marginalised. Trump’s Victory, he said, had awakened them “to their own identity”.

The Times reported that as Spencer ended his speech several audience members had their arms outstretched in a Nazi salute.
