The apostle admonishes us, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Phil. 4:8.
Our present happiness and our future, eternal happiness depend upon our fixing our mind upon cheerful things, looking away from the dark picture, which is imaginary, to the benefits which God has strewn in our pathway, and beyond these, to the unseen and eternal.
