ECT There are two general resurrections

The bible tells us that there are two general resurrections. Concerning the first resurrection the word of God says, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years," Revelation 20:6. This is the resurrection of the redeemed from Adam to the last generation. Of the latter resurrection of the wicked which happens a thousand years later it is written, "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished," Revelation 20:5.

Hi and where do you put 1 Cor 15:42-58 ?

These verses harmonize with the doctrine of the two resurrections. The righteous dead are raised when Jesus returns. Not all the righteous are dead when Christ returns, there are living righteous who will be caught up together with the resurrected righteous.

Where does 1 Thess 4:13-18 FIT IN ??

These scriptures show that the righteous dead will be resurrected and taken with the righteous living to be meet Christ in the clouds.

How will you deal with 2 Thess 2:1-3 ??

The falling away has already happened and resulted in the formation of the Catholic church. The man of sin has been revealed and he is the pope.

Hi and here is why I disagree with your last paragraph that the FALLING AWAY has already happened !

The translation APOSTASIA when they translated the KJV from DEPARTURE to FALLING AWAY !!

All , should remember that most all Greeks words are a TRANSLITERATION !!

The same word APOSTASIA , translated by the word FORSAKE is used in Acts 21:21 !!

The DEPARTURE of the Body of Christ will have first be RAPTURED ? DEPARTED and then the MAN of SIN will be revealed !!

:nono: Your misinterpretation is to fit your false preconceived ideas.

This is all Dan P needed to say "The DEPARTURE of the Body of Christ will have first be RAPTURED"
