The religion that reveres the individual who uttered these words:

15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

And

44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

From the God who commanded the following:

3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”

From the God who committed the following act:

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

And after all that violence, this is the religion whose God decided that not enough babies had been killed to make the universe right:

And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

And this is only a small sample of the hundreds of acts of cruelty and violence documented in the book the Christians revere:

Once again, just a small sample.

Is it any wonder that such a violent book and God has inspired such violence?

Will the Christians on this board look themselves in the mirror when they rail against Muslim violence?

When one sees only the bad done by those who claim Christ and ignores the good done by same I think it says more about the observer than the observed.

Will you lay out the same statement for those who make similar claims for the adherents of Islam?

As a matter of fact I offered Romans 2:14 to a Muslim store owner who was being harassed by a Baptist college student.

And yet you seem conspicuously absent from the anti-Muslim threads on this board, even the one calling for a nuclear strike against them:

You'll notice I never advocated for any violence against Christians, let alone a nuclear strike, and yet what I wrote was still worthy of a response from you.

Ah, you noticed that did you? What does THAT say about Christians?

And I have not advocated violence against atheists ... and what does that say about Christians?

Is this another one of those threads where you write a bunch of nonsense and then run away when asked to support what you claim?

Islam as a faith promotes violence, most importantly by the life example of Mohammed himself. Non-violent Muslims are actually far less consistent with the chronological order of their own scriptures than the violent ones.

On the other hand.

Faith in Christ, per the Bible, consistently PRECLUDES all force, coercion and violence in His name, or for any reason for that matter.

You cannot argue either of those facts.

We know that you already know all this, but you insist on stupid false equivalencies in order to draw attention to your juvenile self.

The violent reality of Christianity

Yes, it has been this way from the beginning of Christian history, starting with RCC and protestants following.

But you need to realize that is not true Christianity. Jesus is prince of peace.

He is not violent Savior or war monger. He does not advocate any kind of violence.

blessings.

He not only is The Prince of Peace, but He is also The Lion of the tribe of Judah. He will be VERY violent upon His return to this earth.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

He will be The One Who will tread out the grapes of God's Wrath. He will bring God's Wrath to this earth and slay every single one of His enemies with His Words. He isn't just a lamb, He is also a Lion.

Meshak doesn't believe any part of the O.T. or Revelation that describes Christ as the vengeful, wrathful Judge.

I think that though many of your points have some grounds this is a one eyed view.

I think most of the Christians on here have little comprehension of what the New Testament says regarding violence.
