The bible describes Babylon, the mother of harlots, as having daughters, "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH," Revelation 17:5. The Roman Catholic Church is the mother of harlots as the reformers have long known but who are the daughters? The answer is the Protestant churches who left her communion but carried with them her errors. The advance and power of the gospel is hindered in these churches by the doctrines and traditions of men which they keep to the neglect or rejection of Scripture.
