SCRIPTURE IS ALREADY OUT OF CONTEXT(YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO PUT IT RIGHT)(HE WILL ONLY QUOTE VERSES)
John 16:25
25 "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father
John 16:29
29 His disciples said to Him, "See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!
John 12:49
49 "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
Matt 13:34
34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them,
Matt 13:9-11
9 "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?"
11 He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
John 16:12
12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
2 Tim 2:19
19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."
1 Cor 3:1-2
1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
Heb 5:12-14
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
2 Cor 5:5
5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
John 14:26
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
John 8:43
43 "Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.
Mark 4:13-15
13 And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
14 "The sower sows the word.
15 "And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Mark 4:18-19
18 "Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,
19 "and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
1 Cor 2:13
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
2 Cor 3:5-6
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
1 Cor 2:7
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
1 Cor 1:18-19
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
1 Cor 1:21
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
2 Pet 3:16
16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
(NKJ)
xxx The bible is already out of context. What the bible says is that everything Jesus spoke He spoke in parables. And everything Paul spoke he spoke the milk understanding. But they both said to find the Holy Spirit and learn from Him. And the Holy Spirit only quotes verses in the meat. There is a milk understanding and there is a meat understanding. The meat is only verses. Your receive the gifts of the Spirit in the milk, but to go into the meat you have to follow the verses(Holy Spirit).

2 Tim 3:14-15
14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The bible is written out of context. And until one meets all the requirments for certain steps they will never move on to the next step. They will only fumble around with different theologies. Now it says there is a God that created everything. And it says there is a god that is condemned and wants to take as many as he can with him. There is a Son of God-Jesus. There is a Holy Spirit for each one of us that is the only guaranteed teacher that will put it altogether for us. The system is laid down like this. The milk understanding for disciples. The meat understanding for apostles. Then the revelations of Jesus Christ and being born again.
The milk is all about hungering and thirsting after the truth. Its about listening to everything you can about the bible. And reading and believing as much as you can in the bible. Getting as much of the Word-verses in your belief system. And when you are tested and fail them it is taken out of your conscience(belief system). And you must put it back in as a belief. At a minimum it takes three years in the milk. Some abide in the milk their whole lives.
Then when them verses start coming to remembrance that is the meat understanding. That is the Holy Spirit trying to teach you. And all through the milk and the meat the devil is trying to deceive you. With phoney logic and phoney theology. But you find that every verse that comes to mind goes against what you have believed, and against your emotions. But you press on trying to believe the verses over all the other things in you. You even find yourself arguing with yourself. And that is when you discover the devil in you. Then the power of the verses helps you to start purging your insides, all thougths and all feeings contrary to the verses. Now your on your way to being sanctified, the washing of water by the Word. If you can get your flesh(emotions and feelings) all crucified. You will come to the revelations of Jesus Christ. You have been dealing with one verse at a time from the Holy Spirit. But now you get a whole series of verses in a role.
The revelations of Jesus Christ, when now it is Jesus teaching you through the Holy Spirit. now you are born again. Then you see how God has put all these different check points in the Word. And how and why people stumble at them so often. One of the biggest problems with those in the milk and those in the meat is the He's and Him's. The carnal mind assumes they are talking about the same person. But when you start getting the revelations of Jesus Christ it is so obvious. There can be a conversation between God and Jesus and they won't see it. Then will assme it is still talking about the same person. It shows you the perfection God used in protecting His Word.

The Bible is written in the right context so long as it is either a 'made from scratch' version such as the KJV, or a trustworthy rendition like ESV. You don't really know what you're getting with a lot of contemporary versions, some of them are even flat out horrible :plain:

The issue is that people do not know how to deduce context, and this is why caution must be used in 'verse checking' or 'cherry picking'. It really shouldn't be in all debates that a person puts up a verse and the other attempts to cancel it out with another- a Christian should have a more complete theology.

This is also one of the reasons why those who constantly throw rocks at which they deem 'religion' problematic. Calvinism, for example, is a complete theology that you cannot attack with a half-baked ideology.

God has many safety points in scripture to weed out the wanttobe's. The bible is written in the milk understanding. Only the Holy Spirit can rightly divide the Word and put the verses in the meat understanding. But first you must find the Holy Spirit and learn from Him.

HIDDEN LANGUAGE (HOLY SPIRIT LANGUAGE)(MEAT)(NEW TONGUE)

John 6:63
63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Rev 2:16
16 'Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
1 Cor 2:4-5
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
1 Cor 2:6-7
6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
Matt 13:10-11
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?"
11 He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
Matt 13:13-14
13 "Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
14 "And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive;
1 Cor 14:10
10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance.
1 Cor 14:7-8
7 Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played?
8 For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for battle?
Rom 8:27
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
James 3:17
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
Matt 13:16-17
16 "But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
17 "for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Matt 13:18-19
18 "Therefore hear the parable of the sower:
19 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
Mark 4:14
14 "The sower sows the word.
John 14:26

John 3:33
33 "He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true.
Eph 1:9
9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
2 Cor 5:7
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Cor 5:10-11
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.
Matt 4:4
4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"
Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

There are many languages in the world. Doctors have one, lawyers have one, intellectuals have one, common people have one. Seeing that the only guaranteed message in the bible comes from the Holy Spirit. So to guard that guarantee He even uses a special language. And the Holy Spirit only quotes verses, He explains verses with other verses. There are spirits in us trying to deceive us and they all speak the same language carnal. So we can discern the Holy Spirit He quotes verses. Now this is the meat understanding of the Word. The milk understanding is done with the carnal language, the meat understanding is done with only verses. Its an unknown tongue to the carnal mind.

II Jn 1:8-11
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

John 5:30
30 "I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

John 7:18
18 "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

Col 2:1-3

1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

1 Cor 13:8-10
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

Squeaky,
How do people have such different interpretations of Scripture if te Holy Spirit is the one revealing it to us? Four people, who agree on the Nature of Christ, God, etc., can read a verse and derive four different meanings from it. Why? It is because the idea of "personal interpretation" paves the way for people to make verses fit into their ideologies. Most of the responses to your original post are evidence of that. Several people have shown you the errors of your statements, but you refuse to budge. Why? Because doing so will cripple your ideals. Therefore, you dispense with logic and reason in order to maintain your system of belief and sense of authority.

The Scriptures are free from error. They are God-breathed. To say otherwise is a contradiction with Scriptures.

People have different strengths of understanding in God, and some understand the deeper meanings of Gods word, some don't understand as much. So that's why sometimes there are debates.

But all those who truly belong to God are living by his will and these people are those who are born of God and living by the spirit, obeying God. And whether they understand all the scriptures fully or not, there is still enough in the Bible to teach us how to live right before God. And Jesus is our perfect example to follow. He is our cornerstone to look back at if we are unsure. He's lived it out perfectly. And those who are living by the will of God, are brothers and sisters in God. It's not the denomination, or how intellectual we are in understanding Greek and Hebrew etc. it's the heart that counts.

And you are right, the scriptures are God breathed, and God has everything that he wants in there.
