CNN's Dana Bash Praises President Trump's Response - and Doubles Down After Backlash

- - CNN's Dana Bash really did have some wonderful things to say about President Trump and how he's handled the COVID-19 outbreak. Not only that, but she did it in front of her critical colleagues and she doubled down.
"If you look at the big picture, this was remarkable from the president of the United States," Bash said to her colleagues. "This is a non-partisan - this is an important thing to note and to applaud, from an American standpoint, from a human standpoint. He is being the kind of leader that people need, at least in tone, today and yesterday."
Whatever it took, Bash was pleased to see that Trump now understands how "dire" a situation we're in. Liberal pundits shamed her for sharing that opinion and suggested she had lowered her standards. But she refused to play that partisan game - -
It's too bad she waited three years before getting some common sense.
